Here’s my twisted scenario. Space on 40 man opened for Happ / Tepera / Solarte BLOCKBUSTER!!! with the Yanks as they want as many starts as possible after Sonny’s dog-vomit outing today. Happ starts against the Jays this weekend and gets lit up by Clint n Teoscar, the new buddy duo for the millennial generation.

I don't know why Frazier is being mentioned along side a guy like Vlady. Frazier is no lock to be an above average MLB player. Vladdy is almost a lock to be an above average player. I would rather focus on lower level high upside pitching prospects than a guy like Frazier.

For the type of impact starter they want they will need to move Frazier. I doubt they want to move any of their top pitching prospects.

More potential impact players on the roster when Vlad is up is what the goal should be. No prospect is a lock but Frazier looks like he can be really good. I don’t expect the Yankees to trade him for anything the Jays will trade this month but doesn’t mean I can’t dream.

Historically very few big trades are made this early. We can't just will a trading partner into both paying what we want AND doing it before everyone else enters the market.
