Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Loup carving the Astros up. Lefty reliever. Trade deadline. Astros. Try it one more time shatkins.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 We got Hernandez for Liriano. That was my way of saying try to sell them Loup and get one of their prospect depth pieces. Hell maybe my Tony Kemp suggestion will finally come true.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Either of them, what do we have that they want? Yeah, nothing. I could possibly see them having interest in Pillar to play LF. Other than that, they're pretty stacked.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I could possibly see them having interest in Pillar to play LF. Other than that, they're pretty stacked. They already have Kevin Pillar his name is Jake Marisnick

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 They already have Kevin Pillar his name is Jake Marisnick Yeah, but Jake is striking out at a 44% clip this year (150 PA). It's the one spot in their lineup that could be improved on.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 What the s*** is K RATE as a stat on SNet? 16.0 for Biagini?
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Biagini pitching the 7th vs the top of the order. Bold strategy Cotton. Lets see if it pays off for Gibbons.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Regardless Abom, you're not getting either of them studs. I'd be extremely surprised if they're both on the team come the deadline. Now whether we can manage to pry one away or not, who knows.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I definitely think Loup could fetch us a decent prospect. Not expecting another Teo but multiple teams will call. He has a track record of striking out lefties.

bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Biagini has been good for 5 games in a row now
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 I'd be surprised if they aren't, they all killed it in their WS title. Like I said, I think they'll use McHugh to upgrade LF in a trade with someone. It would be nice if it's us given we may lose a few starters this offseason, but I expect it of someone.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 This is another trade purpose move I think. I don't think they are going to trade Biagini. He still has 3 years of control after this year and an option for next year. Looks like Gibbons is trying to make him the 7th inning guy like he was in 2016.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Biagini has been good for 5 games in a row now He's back in a role he's best at.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Stros' remember what and why they won the WS.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Lol Travis is s*** K..............
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Lots of s***** teams coming to the Rogers Centre in July. Pretty good chance the Jays see .500

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Gattis looks funny at the plate, but he truly lives up to his nickname, lol.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2018 Posted June 27, 2018 Also, I'd love for you to be right, in either guy, I like Peacock over McHugh. Yeah, that would be preferable. Peacock has an extra year of control though, is currently cheaper, and has started more recently. I suspect they'd prefer to hang onto him out of the two.

Pretty good chance the Jays see .500 If Donaldson and Osuna are giving us something we likely are right around .500. With a good July we could be back in it. That's a lot of wouldas and couldas but truthfully if JD is playing up to his potential we would still be in it.
