Yeah, but i'll wait for his next start, he had to be nervous in his first MLB start. Three of his walks were to Altuve with first base open.

How did Borucki look? I just got in.

 

Mixed, but overall about what I'd expect to see. Of the 4 walks, 3 were to Altuve (I'm not sure he even threw him a strike at all). I'm a little bit concerned that he doesn't seem to really have a strikeout pitch. The change gets outs, but didn't seem to generate a lot of swing and miss. Hopefully we'll see him get to face a normal team and get a better read.

I wouldn't worry too much about the line. He was facing the best lineup in the league in his big league debut. The fact that he went 6 and didn't get slaughtered is an accomplishment.

that's a pretty fair assessment. i watched most of the game on mute as i was working. it seemed like he was getting hit hard early on but it was either right at someone or good D (Diaz, Smoak comes to mind).

 

it's funny to hear that the 'stros are not "normal" but it's so true

Don’t mind that lineup with a lefty on the mound, but why in God’s name is Pearce at DH and Morales at first rather than the other way around?
