Told you guys

I swear every game I watch him pitch, he struggles. It always feels to me that he's having a s*** year and then I look at his stats and they're always quite good. I don't know what gives with that lol

Savage, but maybe none of them do.

Well, and Hinske was an average MLB hitter for his career. I barely noticed his name on the list.

Maybe one of these guys actually becomes a decent MLB hitter...

You shut your filthy mouth. Pat Borders is a goddamn legend.

I Know :)

And I liked him as a kid, almost everyone did. But that career 76 wRC+ tells me he wasn't a good hitter even for a catcher

(And I know you were just being silly)

He was gritty, and stuffed five pounds of chewing tobacco into his mouth for every game. That is a man right there.

Motherf***er played 17 years in the MLB... Then continued to play in the minors for another year... Then when affiliated ball said "no thanks man, you're too old" he said "f*** you" and went and played in the independent leagues for another couple of years.

There's a lot of guys who take their World Series MVP trophy and retire in comfort after 6 or 7 years, Pat Borders was THE goddamn baseball player.

You respect the f*** outta Pat Borders, or we're done here.

If his outcome is Hinske as a hitter that would in all seriousness, be seriously great if he can play multiple positions (ss, 2b, 3rd)....

It would basically be inverting Hinske's defensive spectrum, instead of 3b->1b, you'd have 3b->ss... that would be a great outcome. He would be a regular super-utility

I hope I never see Eric Hinske again. What a disappointment.
