Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Teoscar is probably about an Alex Rios type... Good, maybe a few years where he's all-star quality, but not a guy who is a "superstar". I'll take that in exchange for 2 months of Francisco Liriano.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 he's athletic, hes fast, he has the ability to play a premium position, and he hits for power at the very least, people have a right to be excited especially since hes playing instead of that fat f*** morales trotting out their twice a week and getting paid big money.

I'll go out on a limb and say Teoscar will never be an all-star.

No big deal. It's not like Rios was a really good player or anything.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Why is everyone so stupid and thinks he is good? A free swinger that ks too much and doesnt walk. OMG 20 ABS Same line of through
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I don't know exactly what Hernandez is just yet, but it's clear to me that he's the one to go back to the minors. Granderson and Pearce are playing well and we need to see more of Morales before deciding to eat over 20 million. We're going to need him again this season, so we should preserve our depth. He's better than Grichuk

The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 No Hernandez ceiling is 2016/17 Grichuk. No, you're wrong.
Maico450 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I think he needs to get traded, or forever sent to AAAA. He is obviously not major league material. Reminds me of Eric Thames.

tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 No, you're wrong. How much do you want to bet? I’ll go up to 10k cdn. Your sending to an escrow, I’m not sending as I have a 12 year track record for bets on this site and in poker. I’m up for a bet that if given 375abs Hernandez will have a worse wrc then the average of Grichucks 16/17 wrc. If Hernandez doesn’t get 375abs (bc he sucks) I win.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Yeah that Eric Thames is not a major league bat. It took 3 years of Korea to help Thames make changes to become what he is now. We aren’t in a spot to allow Teoscar that much time to make those changes. It’s highly unlikely he could do 17’ Thames this year.

You should probably seek some form of counseling for gambling addiction. Almost nobody who disagrees with you on a baseball forum is going to bet 10k on in. It comes off as insane that you do this every time.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Well you did the same thing 5-10 years ago with Hech, TDA. If you want a valid discussion I’m up for that. I said I’ll go up to 10k, if you want 50$ that works for me.

If RA could sucker some other GM right now, Teoscar could become some other teams problem. He's gotta go.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Well actually you NJH and your cronies insulted me back then multiple times. You guys said let’s bet, I clearly offered to bet, then you said I would welch/not pay/etc and nothing ever happen s. TCA is civil, hopefully we can do a 50$ bet for something to sweat over this season.

We have an OF logjam at AAA and the 40man. One or two of Smith, Pompey, Alford and Hernandez are gonna be dfa’ed or traded at some point this season.
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I think you are much better off trading Pillar at his ceiling.

We could really use one of them.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Do you think that Teoscar could be traded for a decent backup catcher? We could really use one of them. Were not gonna get anything better then a 25 year old AAA reliever for any of them imo.
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 I think you are much better off trading Pillar at his ceiling. Hmm I think he has the same value as those other guys?
tercet Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Sorry Alford has the highest value but I doubt we will trade him.
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Hmm I think he has the same value as those other guys? Yeah I think Kevin Pillar, a proven asset for a contending team, has trade value. Not Much, but he is cheap, and a really good centre fielder (At least the reputation is there)

Rizzo, Smoak, Springer, EE, Gary Sanchez, Gallo, Posey, Carlos Santana all were under. I'd be thrilled if Teoscar settled in around .800 with average D.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Hes sure fun to watch though! Ride him while hes hot! Good things he can still be optioned! Assets are good man!
