Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 Happy for him. He clearly still wants to play. Worked hard in the off-season. I hope he proves people wrong all over again.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2018 Posted April 18, 2018 I couldn't care less what he cares about. you post an awful lot about a guy you could care less about. I hope Baustista does really well. The 7th inning against Texas was probably the best inning the Jays have had in 20 years.

The 7th inning against Texas was probably the best inning the Jays have had in 20 years. I had to go back to see who made the post (polar bear). Hence, I don't have the foggiest idea what you're talking about. I've never referenced him in any post ever before.
polar bear Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 That means you do care.... at least a little As soon as I posted that,I new what I did,and said f*** it I don't care.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 This is the only way Jose will stay in the league; be a utility player that covers 3b, 1b, and the outfield.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 Gross deal for Bautista. AA says that Bautista turned down a more lucrative deal elsewhere That's an odd thing to make public and also odd for Bautista to do so
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 AA says that Bautista turned down a more lucrative deal elsewhere That's an odd thing to make public and also odd for Bautista to do so Not necessarily - at this stage of his career money isn't the most important thing, especially if the higher offer was only a million or so. This is possibly his last chance to play in the majors again, if he feels his best chance to do that is with the Braves then why go elsewhere for a bit more money?

What he wants I'm sure is just to play in the majors again and yes money might be very secondary Not clear at all which job offer offered the best chance
AGL_91 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Take less money this year to get more ABs, and maybe turn it into a another one year deal next year.
AledmysDiaz Verified Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I hope Bautista has an amazing come back year.
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 I knew picking him first round in my fantasy draft would pay off!

Right now they are saying the injury isn't serious and it's not a re-break, but it was on the exact same same bone as last year's break from a Loup pitch.
