Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 So Bumgarner has a broken hand? Holy s***, yup. A lot of injuries in the last few days.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 "Last thing Healy said to an unidentified Ranger was “you’ve never hit a ball that far in your life,” and then he strolled over to the other field and took Sadzeck deep oppo on a 2-0 fastball. So I imagine he’s feeling pretty good." lol Ryon Healy is in backfield games f***ing s*** up
Maico450 Verified Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 I still believe a team in Montreal with ownership that gives a s*** would be a lot more successful than any team in Florida. Florida doesn't give a s*** about professional sports. That's a college sports state. I find that Florida fans, want to watch baseball in their airconditioned homes. Plus 3/4 of the Florida population, leaves the state come April/May. You should attend a Tampa Lightning game, mostly sold out. They like hockey.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Interesting Donaldson not going to Montreal.

They were selling Stanley Cup Finals seats for 10 bucks in the upper bowl, eventually gave unsold tickets away, lol.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Interesting Donaldson not going to Montreal. Why play him on concrete, right?
Maico450 Verified Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Donaldson has really been struggling. If they keep him in Dunedin, he can get a 200 AB off different pitchers in the next 5 days.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Travis and Donaldson aren't going--likely because the turf is frigging awful in Montreal. You'd think they upgrade it to the kind they have in Toronto and Tampa by now..

You'd think they upgrade it to the kind they have in Toronto and Tampa by now.. yeah...they are going to spend millions of dollars to upgrade the turf for the Jays who play 2 times a year on it. Montreal has a history of wasting money, but even they aren't that dumn.
Expos81 Verified Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Who else is getting stoked for the season to start ?! Despite the fact that the current temperature outdoors is 0 degrees I can feel that Spring is in the air and opening day is just around the corner. Love this time of year. Hope springs eternal. We're undefeated! Yeah ... reality sets in soon enough but by god ... it's almost time for baseball! One thing that will be weird will not hearing Jerry Howarth saying "Hello friends ...". Makes me sad thinking about that. Been hearing that for so , so long. Anyway ... Go Jays !

tercet Verified Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 Tice was 92-95 in today’s game, he’s probably 5’8” or so, a reliever to follow this year I guess.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted March 24, 2018 Posted March 24, 2018 It's the Mets. He'll last a month from being brought back too soon.

Laika Community Moderator Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 He might still be f***ed up and the Mets might secretly be happy that he's still f***ed up because they hate him

My neighbours go to the mountains in Northern Georgia to get away from the humidity. Then they watch sports on tv.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 So only real changes from the likely opening day lineup are the bottom 3... Martin, Diaz and Pillar.

Maico450 Verified Member Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Marco getting pounded All of the regular major league players are playing like they are ready to fly north. Only the bullpen, and a few of the fringe prospects took the game seriously.
