Martin crashes into some f***ing net thing in front of the phillies dugout and almost kills himself. Net thing is promptly removed from the field

This team needs Hernandez's pop in the lineup, especially if Martin and Morales take another step back. Morales isn't inspiring any confidence right now, I know he is a veteran, and Spring doesn't really count. Still. 1 HR in 42 Spring training at bats.

Really nice play though, even if it was totally not a risk to take in a spring training game...

What do you mean another step back for Martin? His bat is what it's always been (minus 2014, which was a massive outliner).

Yep you are right. I thought he took a step back last year in terms of the numbers, but now that I look at it, he was an average hitter. Surprising, felt like he didn't really square up last year.

craig breslow has been told he's not going to make the jays major-league team. tho results have been mixed in spring (better lately!), breslow said he feels confident that what he's doing will work somewhere. he lowered his release point to become even more effective vs. lefties.

Dude sounded awesome on the radio. A one pitch pop up, a weak grounder and a three pitch strikeout to the 3-4-5 (?) hitters of the Phillies opening day lineup.
