Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Was that a missed hit n run?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Was that a missed hit n run? Don't think so, maybe he was baiting a throw so Cain could go home or he wasn't expecting a throw because of that. Really poor decision though.

HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Simultaneously amazing and saddening to watch Hader work (O's traded him in 2014).

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Here I thought the Brewers were dumb for starting Orlando Arcia and of course he's 4-4 lol.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Here I thought the Brewers were dumb for starting Orlando Arcia and of course he's 4-4 lol. Right, have a game!
bzapple Verified Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Wow, Hader just destroyed Murphy.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 What a beast Hader is, unreal.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Josh Hader is so f***ing good.
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Good ball game... onto the next. Brewers have won 9 straight now, right? I think it's 8.

Laika Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 German Marquez became a near Ace this year and I didn't even notice.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 German Marquez became a near Ace this year and I didn't even notice. I did and was pissed for giving up on him in more than 1 league.
BTS Community Moderator Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 It’s weird to me that a 3.3 FIP over 191 innings is only 4.5 fWAR for a Colorado pitcher
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 David Dahl is cray, I thought he'd come up broken, lol.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 That looks safe, tough to overturn. Good call... can't overturn that.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 I just realised these games are on in the afternoon. FFS - people have to work. I was all jacked to watch them this evening.

Yeah so many of us make fun of small sample sizes but then rip a manager for their lineup for a single game. Sometimes "wrong" decisions just work out.

Chris Sale and deGrom both have sub 50 FIP- which is absurd, with the latter of course doing it over 60 more innings.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 deGrom's a lock for the Cy, it would be criminal if he doesn't win it. He should be a lock but unfortunately in 2018 people still value W-L record for pitchers

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Rick Sutcliffe is going to kill us all post-season right?
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Simultaneously amazing and saddening to watch Hader work (O's traded him in 2014). He probably wouldve sucked if he stayed with the Orioles.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 This is an awesome pitching duel.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 Marquez really has been a tale of 2 pitchers, this season. He went from good to elite, I was hoping Gray would be that guy.
