I took my 3 year old daughter to the game when we were down that way. We watched the Jays get wrecked by the Sox.

Now whenever we talk about baseball she tell me "we don't like Red Sox, only Blue Jays" and its freek'n adorable.

1 child can be adorable. Many children is horrible. My limit hits somewhere around 1.5

So Edwin Encarnacion has only been a hair above replacement level this year. Almost two years into his 3/60 deal he's been worth 2.9 fWAR. Signing Morales to replace him was a mistake, but letting him walk in the first place was not.

In 2016 Travis Snider pitched 3 inning of relief for Omaha.

Now when you go to his MiLB BR page is says his position is/was "Outfielder and Relief Pitcher".

And if you go to his Twitter page, which he obviously hasn't updated in a while, it says "OF/P in the Royals Org".

What a game! Canada brings in the little guy (4'11", 84 lbs) to close it out. I love the LLWS.

Chris Archer was lifted from Monday's start versus the Braves with left leg discomfort.

 

Advice: Archer appeared to have tweaked something while he was batting. The Pirates are deeming his exiting precautionary, so it seems safe to call the right-hander day-to-day. Archer allowed one run on five hits and one walk over four innings of work before being pulled.

They can't trade Bryce if they want any chance at re-signing him imo. He's not exactly Donaldson, at his age and with his marketability that's a guy that you can justify throwing the money at.
