TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Not as fun as a passed ball. All this power though and it was a hustle play by a catcher that led to the tying run
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Has to be one of the greatest world series games ever.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I just tuned in about ten minutes ago and have read through this thread. It appears I've missed one of the best games of all-time. *gets razor blades* I've never felt so much god damn emotion in a game for I have no rooting interest.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Legit home runs are fun to watch. That single up the middle was too. One handed swings on pitches on the outside corner going out are not. My theory is that MLB has seen the entertainment value of baseball drop post-steroid era. This is their answer to that, to allow juicing the ball instead of allowing athletes to juice, it's growing on me
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 This is the greatest game of baseball I have ever watched, just supplanted G6 in 2011.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I might pass out if Altuve hits a walk off home run.

bowld Verified Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Way this game has gone I expect a walkoff blast

One handed swings on pitches on the outside corner going out are not. Puig is a super strong dude man, he hit that ball 96 mph on an awful swing. Sure a lot of times that shouldn't be a homerun, but like the short porch is right there, all it takes it somewhat driving the ball to your pull side.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 There can't not be a walk-off here.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Way this game has gone I expect a walkoff blast Way this game is going I expect a comeback after the walkoff lmao
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Not as fun as a passed ball. All this power though and it was a hustle play by a catcher that led to the tying run Austin Barnes is amazing.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Yeah I’d be shocked if this doesn’t end in a walk off bomb
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I half expected a game tying passed ball SO
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 We'd probably all have had multiple strokes and/or heart attacks if the Jays were one of the teams in this game.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I half expected a game tying passed ball SO I was waiting for you start posting. Lmao
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 We'd probably all have had multiple strokes and/or heart attacks if the Jays were one of the teams in this game. Not to mention pitchforks and torches out for Gibbons if he had pulled Roberts' s*** with Morrow.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Liriano is warming up, you might get your wish. Pleeease don't quote that person.

We need Tabler co-colouring this game with Buck, to talk about Puig's strong hands....
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Not to mention pitchforks and torches out for Gibbons if he had pulled Roberts' s*** with Morrow. I can see him using Tepera for every game of the postseason
HealthDream007 Verified Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I was waiting for you start posting. Lmao 3/4 of my keyboard doesn't work due to water damage.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Not to mention pitchforks and torches out for Gibbons if he had pulled Roberts' s*** with Morrow. Gibbons probably doesn't make it out alive to the end of this game.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 "Water" damage. It's more believable that you've emptied your nuts on your keyboard to this incredible game.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Wow I'm shocked Jansen went to a breaking ball. That kinda game.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 f*** me I thought that was gone!!!
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Counterpoint: that could have been a game winning homerun in a lot of ballparks.
