John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Why is Castro sliding into first base there? Because baseball players are stupid and think sliding will somehow get you to 1st faster than running through.... despite it not being possible
Yippy Verified Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Astros haven't got that low strike call all game
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 This is the Yankees one big chance to get back in it
Yippy Verified Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I find the umpires tightened the strike zone on the Astros tonight.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Off the wall double Tie game.. Wow
Yippy Verified Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 There was another missed low strike call on judge

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 MLB must be drooling at the thought of an LA vs NY World Series.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Yankees winning it all clearly
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 MLB must be drooling at the thought of an LA vs NY World Series. I fell asleep, what a turn of events.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 The Yankees are built the way the Jays want to build their team. Don't know why people hate them. I mean, I get it, it's the freaking Yankees, but the team itself is built around drafting and great trades. In fact, they've made an effort to purposely go below the lux tax, so they are not even buying talent anymore. It's straight up good GM'ing by Cashman. I wouldn't mind the Yankees making the WS. Just lose to the Dodgers.

The Jays look like they are not going to rebuild any time soon, and the Yankees are an example of a team who avoided a rebuild on purpose and still came away with a great young team. That 2015 team that hosted the WC game had one starting position player under the age of 30 (Didi). Now look at them. The Yankees are not the enemy, they are the blue print.

Let's start by nabbing Glyber Torres
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 I always found the Yankees way more tolerable than the Red Sox. And nowadays I don't even mind them at all. There are not too many annoying dudes on that team. Me too 100%. Yankees are actually pretty likeable. (Will get jealous if they have a major run of success here of course) But the order of hate for me as a Jays fan nowadays: 1. Rangers 2. Red Sox 3. Orioles No one else is even close, including the Yankees.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Man the Yanks are going to be good for a long damn time. Have to hope Dumbrowski f***s the Red Sox sooner rather than later.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Yankee and Orioles fans make me not want to listen to Seven Nation Army ever again.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Couldn't believe the Yankees came back against Cleveland Can't Beleive they're coming back here Damn
bowld Verified Member Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Yanks are on quite the roll. Sux but would rather see it happen with this group opposed to the A-Roid, Texiera era yanks
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Astros look so dead. Springer, Reddick, Correa all look lost.
