Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Another 0-2 count leads to a homerun and 3 more runs...Catcher tipping pitches in that AB imo...annoys the crap out of me
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 they dont just lose when they are trying to get back to .500, they get crushed. Being outscored 72-20 in those games. Edit: 68-20. Still
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 Stroman is f***ing dumb as f***. Because he pitched what Maile called. He hung the last 1...but the other 3 runs are on Maile
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Did the Jays call up Ryan Gold as a catcher? It shows him as a bench player in Gameday

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Did the Jays call up Ryan Gold as a catcher? It shows him as a bench player in Gameday Who, lol???
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 This does not sound like a guy who's going to sell... FWIW http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-still-position-earn-good-grade-big-test-looming/ As for Biagini... He basically spells it out that we are going to sell unless we go on a crazy run lol. Don't know what u are comprehending
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Time to predict a solo HR from Smoak to lead off next inning. Well he hit the single that would have scored JB last inning. But then it would only be a 5 run deficit instead of 6......
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Who, lol??? Check out the gameday bench Here's his FG page, hasnt even played this year http://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa918639&position=C

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 So at the beginning of the season most people would have said the starters were our biggest strength. What happened?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 This team could make the playoffs but they arent gonna beat Houston or the yankees. Just sell and build around Vlad and Bo. Dream '19 Anything can happen in the playoffs (god knows the Royals should not have beaten the Jays in 2015 if just looking at talent), but the bigger issue is whether the Jays are even good enough to get there. It's getting to the point where I'm not sure if they are. Good enough to be around 80-85 wins? Sure. Will that be enough to get to the 2nd wild card? Maybe, but that's a pretty s***** spot to be in. I wouldn't trade any assets to get help for this year. Maybe some C level prospects but nothing that we might end up regretting.

wk680 Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 So at the beginning of the season most people would have said the starters were our biggest strength. What happened? Seems the only part of the team that has not underperformed is the bullpen (although a couple of them have been total dogshit). But offense, defense and starting pitching have all been overall bad. This team needs a trade to inject some new energy into it. They need a guy like Mookie Wilson back in '89 to come in and provide a spark.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 The odds of failing this many times to get back to .500 must be astronomical. This is just stupid at this point.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 22, 2017 Author Posted June 22, 2017 3 homers on 2 strike counts lol...such terrible execution...granted he was working on the changeup this inning
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 That's not Stroman's fault folks, that's all on Maile.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Sanchez can't come back fast enough This starting rotation is AIDS
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 Yank him and let Valdez throw 3 innings no matter what.
