Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Wow Holy f*** No words. Pillar turns a 4 pitch walk into a strikeout. How. I mean, 2-0, aren't you looking for a fastball down the middle and not a f***ing loopy breaking ball down and away? Its like the guy is allergic to getting on base Exactly. Any half decent high school player knows that your approach 2-0 with the bases loaded is to look for a fastball over the plate. If you don't get it then don't swing. Is he not thinking up there and just goes off instinct or what?
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I can't even pretend to be enraged by that nonsense. Even if the end result is Pillar playing elsewhere? Fight the good fight.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Even if the end result is Pillar playing elsewhere? Fight the good fight. I'd rather kidnap him, stuff him in a box and mail him to Madagascar.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Exactly. Is he not thinking up there and just goes off instinct or what? Maybe his giant Jew nose is impairing his vision. Maybe it swells in warmer weather?
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Maybe his giant Jew nose is impairing his vision. Maybe it swells in warmer weather? I lol'd
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Let DSJ play CF tomorrow. Give Pillar a day off. Then put him back out there on Thursday but bat him 8th.

Is he not thinking up there and just goes off instinct or what? Lol when a guy throws 97 and he throws a breaking ball that starts on the same plane as a FB it isn't easy to lay off. The fastball up and last pitcher were terrible but you're acting as though its easy as hell to lay off that. Even JD and Bautista swing and miss in those same situations.

I'm just mad. lol
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I've come to the conclusion that Kevin Pillar is not a very smart individual, not even moderately. Good athlete, good physical tools but has no clue on how to apply them offensively due to having a peanut sized brain.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Yeah he came close for sure. Had about 4 hangers down the middle after that he just fouled off. Not like it was a good AB because he fouled off a ton of hittable pitches. Have you guys enjoyed. It so farQ, lol.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 tulo... why dont you know, take a f***ing pitch? jesus christ get the f*** off this team
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Seriously, if the Jays are sellers at the deadline, then ship Pillar's ass out. Play DSJ there, or Pompey if he's still alive, or god anyone else. Great defensive cf's that can't hit but find a way to put up a 3-4 WAR season or two can flame out pretty quick.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 How the f*** do you not score on that double.. I know he's slow but jeez.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Tulo is killing us more like tulo pillar bautista goins and most of the starting pitching staff
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 How the f*** do you not score on that double.. I know he's slow but jeez. Was he going "full speed"? Or did he think it was out?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I can't even pretend to be enraged by that nonsense. lulz

Who the f*** would want Pillar if he keeps playing like he has the past few weeks. Even his defense is now just average.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Was he going "full speed"? Or did he think it was out? Probably thought it was gone and jogged. Like there was 2 outs so you would be running no matter what, not to mention it was a moonshot off the wall that the CF had to get to. Morales even as an above avg bat is just a replacement level player.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 How about a little bit of originality there Kumar.
wk680 Verified Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 more like tulo pillar bautista goins and most of the starting pitching staff Goins has the Jays only RBI in this game.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 I love Beltre! Only Ranger I like
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2017 Posted June 21, 2017 Who the f*** would want Pillar if he keeps playing like he has the past few weeks. Even his defense is now just average. Someone will take him. Won't get much value back, but teams rarely pay top value in trades for defence anyway. Dude can't hit and his D has regressed. If the latter continues, he's closer to replacement level than a starting cf. Combine that with his inflated opinion of his own limited talent, and it's a no brainer for me. I'd miss seeing his wife on TV occasionally, though.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
