Which will be followed by Sanchez tomorrow, Tulo next week and hopeful a steady stream of returnees from the DL after that.
Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 So this lineup is what it would look like in the 50-win blow-up-the-whole-thing scenario. It's been one or two steps away from that for a while now. Crazy to think the Jays are over .500 since JD has been out which just highlighted how asinine the 50-win scenario was.

It also helps playing s***** teams too.
Gary Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Sounds like Goings might start to take some at-bats away from Travis once Tulo returns.

Gary Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Let's focus on a wild card spot for now boys. We're only 4 games out. Trying to win the AL at this point seems to daunting.
Gary Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Interesting discussion on Sportsnet now...Biagini stays in the rotation and Liriano to the bullpen when he returns? What would you do?
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Keep it rolling Jays. With a good week or two, we may be putting Tampa and Boston in the rearview mirror and focusing on the playoff contenders with our star players in tow. Stay optimistic!
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Interesting discussion on Sportsnet now...Biagini stays in the rotation and Liriano to the bullpen when he returns? What would you do? Kind of a moot point until all five original starters are healthy at the same time. If that happens I do think we would have to seriously consider keeping Joe in the rotation, as that would seem to possibly be the best move for the present and future of this ball club. Biagini is looking really good and I liked Liriano's work out of the pen in the playoffs.

But knowing Gibby and his loyalty to veterans, it wouldn't surprise me to see Biagiani go back to the bullpen in that scenario.

If Biagini continues to do well, it would seem you don't want to mess with success. But he is also a valuable member of a not so great bullpen. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Bolsinger.

Gary Verified Member Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 On sportsnet they just showed Bautista stretching on the field and you could totally see the imprint of his testicles through his pants.
