He can get to the ball...but he drops or makes outlandish ugly attempts at least 1 time a game...I mean he tried diving into the stands on a ball that hit the wall in fair territory earlier this year...he is good a big chunk of the time...but I can't understand how he misses or drops some balls he does

He just has like no awareness, really low baseball IQ. I agree that he makes too many dumbfounding mistakes but that still doesn't make him an awful outfielder.

It's not like Grilli is making a lot. $3M. His option was extremely team friendly. Some how J.P. Howell got the same salary as him.

Starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel with Tulo, Donaldson, and Sanchez all returning within the month. Just get close to .500. Win series and lets see what happens.

He takes some bad routes to balls too I find. But no where near the worst OF. Anyone see JD Martinez try to field a ball last year? Or Colabello in LF the year before that? Oof.

Yeah and I still think Grilli can rebound if he can locate his fastball better.
