Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 So we've got Morales and Pillar who are big leaguers. Then whatever Bautista is at this point. And then 6 replacement level players. With a 29 year old AAA SP on the hill. Not sure I like our odds tonight you guys.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Coghlan at 2B? Has the org. lost interest in Travis? Thought to be fair, Travis' .157/.204/.245 line has a trip to Buffalo in his future with Goins moving to 2B when Tulo comes back in the next week.

With a 29 year old AAA SP on the hill. Not sure I like our odds tonight you guys. Bolsinger has been good in the MLB in the past, has been lights out in AAA, and projects well. There is a chance he doesn't suck completely, but he could also bomb his start and never be heard of again.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 Ohlman's going deep tonight don't worry. This is how we win tonight. Bolsinger throws up a quality start. The two guys who belong on a big league roster each have multiple hits. The guy who might belong has a hit as well. The 6 replacement level players don't do much but they don't make any errors and one of them (we can go with Ohlman if you want) runs in to a pitch and hits it over the fence with a guy on base. The bullpen holds them scoreless for 3 innings. Jays win 4-3.

King Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Yeah I actually have liked him for a while. He isn't a Casey Lawrence level talent. There might be some sneaky upside with Ohlman too. The bar for offensive upside isn't very high at catcher, and he slugged it in AAA as a three true outcomes type.

Travis just crushed one off the wall yesterday, so I can only guess this is to get a lefty in the lineup (cause Coghlan needs to be DFA asap)
TholesWeirdEye Verified Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Bolsinger's going to have to be great tonight, because with that lineup he's not getting much support.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Author Posted May 9, 2017 I'm watching the Indians feed tonight. That is so stupid.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I'm watching the Indians feed tonight. That is so stupid. I'm sure the broadcast team will still call them the Indians. But it's being discouraged and have been told just to refer to them as Cleveland as much as possible.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Source? I don't have a link handy but the story adds up when you see most if not all the Sportsnet people calling them The Cleveland's on twitter.
