Zaun is 100% wrong. It was a highly emotional game and Stroman was celebrating the win with his team. Who cares if he fist pumped or whatever he did. I thought the WBC would have pushed the #MakeBaseballFunAgain movement across the goal line but here we are. Old f***s like Zaun and Pujols have to make sure the game is played the right way.

 

Play the game the right way. When you don't, teams will not line up to sign you. Ask JoeyBats. Stro is young, he will get it. His emotions over took him today. Someone likely pays for it tomorrow.

This is wrong on many levels.

 

Teams didn't want to sign Bautista because he was old, provided negative defense value, was asking for too much money and had a compensation pick attached to him.

 

If Stroman was a free agent tomorrow, every team in the league would be lined up to sign him.

The Orioles said they wouldn't sign Bautista because their fans don't like him which is a) the exception, not the norm and B) dumb as f***.

Anyone have the video of what Stroman did?

 

He showed emotion, celebrated a bit with his teammates, y'know stuff you do after you throw a complete game victory. Some people didn't like it.

Unless i misunderstoon the great Tim Raines got his nickname from carrying a vile of Blow in his back pocket (birth of the head first slide). The Pirates mascot was the teams blow dealer and Doc Ellis tossed a perfect game high as a kite with no memory of the game. Todays players can't take a cough candy without sending samples to the team trainer. Time for the old boys to stop living in the past.

Missed the game but I saw the box score. The bunch of runs late and that Travis, Goins and Pillar all hit home runs. My first thought was that they were back-to-back-to-back. It turns out that wasn't the case but imagine if it was. Haha, that pitcher might as well just give up baseball.
