Wong lost his job (or at least will need to share it) and he mentioned players from the Jays who 'needed time to figure it out'.

 

Could he be a fit for the Jays. His contract is a little scary but the Cards could eat some of it.

 

Travis hasn't proven he can stay healthy this far.

If he's willing to play around the diamond, he's a highly valuable asset on a contending team. Excluding defense and baserunning, his bat alone is an immediate upgrade over garbage like Carerra and Smoak. (This says more about us than about Wong). If Travis has extended DL trips over the year, Wong becomes a crucial asset. If his price tag is cheap, he deserves our attention.

I agree, but those injuries are starting to add up, linger and cost the team Ws. Wong is better than anyone other than Travis that the Jays can run out there. Gyorko is a nice addition in STL.
