Laika Community Moderator Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 What does the pitching look like today? Not reported as far as I see but you can see the available arms:
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Where is Pompey? They said on sunday they were holding him out due to some illness he had they were hoping early this week that he would be feeling better.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 Is there a stream or anything for this game?
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 appears to just be radio Nice. I can get some quality scouting in.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Wilner just said that Tellez is the "story of the Spring". What have I missed? I admit I haven't kept up much on ST news other than checking in for injuries.

Nice showing so far but it's 4 games.

He seems to be really fit, massive, evident tools, MLB ready, good attitude, cool name, blah blah blah
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 You missed Wilner's deluded worldview. Wilner trying to pump up Tellez to the unwashed masses to divert attention away from the gaping hole left by Edwin. Typical corporate shill, nothing to see here.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 LOL @ story of the spring after half a week.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 "Story of the spring" on February 28 and, what, 3 games in? Wilner's gonna Wilner.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 I asked Wilner how the herbal magic diet worked out for him and he blocked me on twitter. He looks out for the big boys.
Bojangles Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Can you ask Wilner if it's still early?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 You guys sure Wilner didn't mean Tellez is the "story of the spring" as in, he's going to be the guy to watch? Because he could possibly make an impact THIS SEASON in a platoon type role with Pearce.

If you are not utilizing him in a everyday role then you might as well send him to AAA and make sure he is ready.

Look at guys like Joc Pederson, who barely gets chances to play against lefties. The game is changing, maybe the FO thinks Tellez provides more value to the organization as a strong RHP masher.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 if you were to take a headshot of Rowdy you'd think he's fat, but his body is relatively slim
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 if you were to take a headshot of Rowdy you'd think he's fat, but his body is relatively slim Yeah he's not even as husky as Schwarber
Ray Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Joshua Palcios just hit a home run against Bastardo! First professional home run.
JuniorFelix Verified Member Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Some guys use a toe-tap, Rowdy uses a bubblegum pop as his timing mechanism.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
