gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 I believe you said he'd have a 10+ year career as valuable major league player. Months later he was sent to the minors after one of the worst individual seasons in franchise history. I didn't hear about his retirement.
BTS Community Moderator Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 You're such a f***ing moron. I don't give a f*** what his WAR was/is. Did he or did he not stick the past four years? Is getting sent to AAA after performing like the worst player in MLB 'sticking'? If so, yes, he stuck in MLB.

No, he hasn't stuck. He has over 500 AB's in AAA since he debuted in 2013. Next question- is it still safe to assume Biagini is equal to or better than Stroman?

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 all this time and energy wasted on a fringe player named Goins

Next question- is it still safe to assume Biagini is equal to or better than Stroman? 306 MLB games vs 242 in AAA in the past four years, 272 MLB vs 131 in AAA in the past three years would suggest an overwhelming majority in the MLB favor and merits stuck status. When Biagini gets stretched next year, we'll talk. Yes it is safe to assume Biagini's numbers will be equal or better than Stroman's in the next 3-4 years.

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 You know baseball is back when we have bickering in game day threads over meaningless s***
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Nothing says that a player has stuck in the MLB like getting shuffled back and forth from Buffalo due to injuries.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 93 mph fastball. Looked good. Only 93? I thought he was a fireballer?

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Lol went to the Outback Steakhouse in Dunedin the other day and Ryan Goins was sitting a few down stools down from us. Guy isn't the smartest tool in the shed.

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Goins peak is probably Darwin Barney, which would be a plus bench player. Nothing wrong with that, but that's likely the result if absolutely everything clicks. Everything clicking is possible, but imo unlikely. I hope I'm wrong, because I'm actually rooting for him to succeed.
Ray Verified Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Chances that Goins figures out how to hit this season and becomes our version of Javy Baez?
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Chances that Goins figures out how to hit this season and becomes our version of Javy Baez? 0.1%?
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Chances that Goins figures out how to hit this season and becomes our version of Javy Baez? Negative 7
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Chances that Goins figures out how to hit this season and becomes our version of Javy Baez? Goins won't make the 25 man, bro? They'll go with Barney as the utility infielder.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Chances that Goins figures out how to hit this season and becomes our version of Javy Baez? Roughly the same odds as Gbill making an intelligent post.

Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 If it weren't for injuries he wouldn't get a sniff. He is not a MLB player. He's not a very good MLB player, that's for sure. But no bat, very good defense, with positional flexibility is a commodity teams will often utilise for the 25th man on a roster. The Jays don't need that at the moment because we have Barney, who is better. But I'd be surprised if Goins could clear waivers without being claimed.

An NL team would likely grab him for Double Switches and D for sure. No bid deal though, not for the Jays.

Holy crap, I know it's just a board joke but you may actually be objectively the most unintelligent poster on the forum.
