Nope, pretty sure they’re all Large or XLarge. No size choice.

Also from what i’ve seen they aren’t the same quality as actual replica jerseys you buy from the shop, these giveaways are completely screen printed I believe

Still a free jersey though

That's what I figured. Probably size L as that will fit most people. I'm just bringing four 12 year old kids with me who are pumped about getting a free jersey. I don't think they'll be as pumped when they realize it won't fit them until they are 18.

Lol yeah it’ll fit more like a poncho for a few years

Curious question, if you get tickets for tomorrow, are they good for the second game as well? Like as traditional doubleheaders down in the States?

No, 2 separate games with separate tickets

Got in line at Gate 11 around 10:10 this morning. Massive line but gates were open by the time we lined up. Thankfully we both got the bobblehead and there were a bunch still available when we got ours but I can't imagine they lasted very long.

I'm guessing the 1st and 3rd base gates get a disproportionate amount of giveaway items because there were definitely over 1-2k people already through our gates by the time we got to the front of the line.

If anyone is willing to sell a bobblehead from today let me know. Will pay fair value!

There are lots on Facebook Marketplace already. I saw prices ranging from like $80 to $200.

An update from my Canada Day game experience. We got to the dome by about 12:30 and the lines were already massive. The Gate 4 line was back on Front Street. We went to Gate 1, which seemed to have a short line, but they told us the "line was closed" because the hotel didn't want people lining up in front of their entrance or some s***. So we leaned against the railing until the line started moving, then jumped in the back.

We were passing through the metal detectors when they announced the jerseys were gone. The kids I took were pretty bummed, but luckily they were talking about their disappointment in a concession stand line and an older lady in front of us gave one to my son for his birthday. TB didn't take batting practice either...

But - overall, the kids had a great day. Lots of energy in the dome, lots of action and runs scored and of course a Jays win to boot. We were really hoping Romano would pitch, so we could see the light show they put on for him - which would have been cool on Canada Day, but that's life.

Wow. Really? What was the bobble head?

The Vlad & Dad one. I've never been into bobbleheads myself. No idea what fair market value is, but it looks like people love to get s*** for free and then gouge people.

I guess better than a McDonalds dipping sauce cup or something

At the Teo bobblehead game I saw a guy outside after the game with a bag full of like 20 bobbleheads.

No doubt he went on to sell them for 50$ a pop.

f***ing scumbags, man.

Thanks again for all the help everyone!

In the end I went for directly behind the plate for the game on the 3rd. In terms of price and match day experience it seemed like the best option. Maybe the seats aren't the best but for the budget I had they seemed good enough :) hopefully I'll enjoy my first baseball experience and that it won't be the last!

Just as a follow-up, I had an awesome time! The view from behind the plate was fantastic for a first timer and I really love how easy it is to follow what's happening courtesy of the screens and info boards. It's a shame the Jays lost but I'm a total convert now and I returned to the UK with some merch, the MLB app seeing daily use and anticipation for the 2023 game in London.

Thanks again for all of your input. Go Jays!

I hope you knew about the Home Run Derby event they just put on in London yesterday. Would have been a cool experience.

MLB did a terrible job of marketing it. I didn't know about it until the night right before it happened.

Here's the full video if you missed it.

I didn’t realize there was any MLB affiliation at all until I saw ex players like AGon and Swisher participating

I only noticed it when I got home and checked to see if there were any matches here like when the NFL comes over. Couldn't make it at such short notice but it would have been cool. Naturally the baseball scene here is quite small but I hope to go and see my local team who play in the 'top' league here in the coming weeks. Also have a few MLB matches a week included in our BT Sport tv package too!

Playoff tickets are up for presale FYI in case anyone missed the email. Available for season ticket/quarter season ticket holders.

Still lots of good seats available, exclusive window ends Friday.

I can provide a link and promo code that might give you access to buy tickets, the code seems generic. Not sure if it will work. DM me if you’re interested.

Playoff tickets have been surprisingly easy to get.

GO GET YOURS NOW!!!

Site is glitchy though. When you select seats, waiting to process and then they say someone else grabbed them.

Figured I would try and grab a pair for Game 2 or 3 or both since they're on a Saturday and Sunday. At least if its an afternoon game, won't be too bad.

Its been super easy compared to other things like this though. I got tickets for WC games 1/2/3 and ALDS game 1.

Seems like they aren’t selling ALCS or WS yet

In previous years, tickets were sold out quick.

I'm guessing the high cost (for decent seats will be $300 per pair), along with it being the Thanksgiving weekend (people might be going out of town, spending it with family etc.) and also the uncertainty of start times.

Plus ALDS Game 3 and 4, could be elimination games. If the Jays came back to Toronto down 2-0, those seats for Game 3 aren't worth as much and doubt they're would be much excitement for that game from casual fans.

Ended up getting Sec 235, Row 9 for Saturday's game. At least I'll get to see one of Gausman or Manoah haha. Hope the Jays clinch that game!
