StubbinHub Verified Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 *chirp chirp* crickets thread.......$3-5 tix to be had on tickpick daily or firesale on stubhub 2-3 hrs before game with hundreds of tix for $6
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 if this season continues to be disappointing, I wonder what percentage of season tickets won't be renewed? would be interesting to know the number of new STHs since the Tulo/Price trade deadline and how many of them fall by the wayside if the season continues to be a write-off.
StubbinHub Verified Member Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 It'll get ugly.....many STH used to sell some games and recoup a lot of money but they'll bleed this year. Flex Packs are garbage now and with a trash team, the numbers will tank dramatically. BJ fans won't pay for garbage and ownership took advantage of the small window of success to jack up prices, gouge fans, and handicap sales in the future.

So how many of those pure ticket broker dudes will bail on some of their less than stellar season tickets as well?
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 5, 2017 Posted May 5, 2017 As much as I love baseball and the Blue Jays, I would never get season tickets. Just doesn't make sense unless you go in with like 3 or 4 people. 81 games is a heck of a lot of games to sell. Would be a headache trying to sell like 6 or 7 games per week. As well, if the team continues to struggle as they are now, I'm sure it's extremely difficult to recoup the cost for weeknight games against bad teams etc. Especially when the Rogers Centre holds close to 50K, it's never difficult getting into the building. Flex packs are a better option IMO, and even those aren't the greatest now. Just best to buy tickets the day of to the games you want to go to see. Plus with me, I can't commit to a game weeks or months in advance. I usually like attending certain games depending on the team, whose pitching, the type of night etc. Now Cubs or Red Sox season tickets, different story

Used to be great as you could change the crap weeknight games to games in the summer when more people wanted to go. But this year they clamped down so you have to trade the crap games for other crap games and so on. And now you have to do it 24 hours before. Nice thing about season tickets for me is I have aisle seats which I find is a huge benefit IMO especially Rogers Centre with how jammed pack the seats are.
StubbinHub Verified Member Posted May 20, 2017 Posted May 20, 2017 Just visiting the crickets. No one trying to unload those row 17 500 level seats at dynamic pricing face value, when they're worth $4 to $6 in the real world??
ChrisS Verified Member Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 I have pretty good 500 lvl seasons. Since the start of the season I think I have sold 1 game besides the opener. I have my tickets on stubhub, kijiji and a few blue jays facebook pages, all at under face value (many at $6 on stubhub). I hope the FO isnt counting on many of the newish STHs renewing... I couldnt even sell the mothers day Estrada bobblehead game for $6.
StubbinHub Verified Member Posted May 21, 2017 Posted May 21, 2017 At the prices and lack of flexibility, I'm never buying flex packs again. I did for many years.....i could get 4 tix for some games, 2 for others, sell a couple pairs and be fully content with my investment. The current prices and structure of ticket sales indicate that management overestimated the market and are going to pay the price when they lose half of their flex ST holders after this season. I'm having a great time.....I've gone to 6 games and not spent more than $7 for any ticket. I've also sat in the first 3 rows of the 500s on the infield for all of them.
LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted May 23, 2017 Posted May 23, 2017 People had expressed interest earlier in the June 3 and 4th weekend vs the Yankees. I have 2 tickets to the Saturday and Sunday games in the 200 level bases which I am unable to attend. Send me a DM if interested
Mkdaman1818 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2017 Posted May 24, 2017 I know this is a long way away, but does anyone have 5 tickets to the Sunday aug 27 game against the twins? Also apologies if this is the wrong thread. Thanks.

LGBJ29 Verified Member Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I still have 2 tickets for Saturday available that I can not use. The dynamic face value is $83 on bluejays.com, Im selling them for $65/ea. 200 level bases (216) If you or anyone you know would like to go send me a message.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 If anyone is still thinking about going down to Chicago in August for the Cubs/Jays series, I could sell my tickets to all 3 games. Not looking to make a profit, so will sell them for face value. These are my seats: Friday: Sec 427, Row 6 Saturday: Sec 216, Row 17 Sunday: Bleachers (General Admission)
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted June 10, 2017 Posted June 10, 2017 I have to work on Canada Day now so I am selling my Canada Day tickets vs the Red Sox if anyone is interested, section 232 row 9.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 I dunno how many people know this app, so I may come off as a fool, but everyone here should download Gametime. I got 2 4th row tickets in 114 for 70 dollars for yesterday's game. You can buy the tickets and then display them right from the app. Super convenient and easy to use.
