Does it give you any preferred access to post season tickets??

I dont think so. Only the first 8,000 purchasers of the 20 game flex pack were guaranteed a chance at postseason tickets

Definitely no guaranteed access to post-season. They say that explicitly. With that in mind, the price per game is almost identical to a 20-game pack (within 10%), so it's still a pretty good deal if you are OK with a set of 6 games they are offering.

I suspect the weekend package will be most popular. The other one that people may like is the Home Opener package since people are obsessed with the Opener and it ends up being about $11 per ticket for the other games (the home opener is $24 in a flex pack). *prices based on 500 level

I personally like the summer nights pack, but the seats are garbage.

500 section all they have is 20th row+ ?? Give me a f***ing break.

What are the seating options for these packs? I know for the other packs the best you could get for outfield was like row 10, which to me isn't worth it.

Its worse now. I was getting row 12 at best

12th row in the 100 level outfield are some of the worst seats in the house. You can't see any ball up in the air, and there is a lot blind spots from the wall in front of you.

... that are on sale today?

If so, which one? Wonder which of the 5 set options will be most popular?

Nope. I'll just buy my tickets the day of off StubHub for cheaper or buy off BJMB posters who have season tickets. I can't purchase tickets this far in advance for games I don't know I'll be able to attend.

Slightly off topic but the best seats IMO are in the 100-level, first-base side. There is more on-field action on the diamond there than in any other location. You can see all the infielders' plays, you can get a good look on fly balls, everything. They're even better than the seats directly behind the plate, which are overrated and cost way, way more.

I mean I generally take the nosebleeds or 200s, but on the odd time I splurge or have tickets give to me, first-base 100s have always been the best.

Just keep your eyes on the game.

I'm going to guess you're 6'4"+

No, why?

Because I can never see s*** in the 100 sides, I seem to always get the tall guy in front of me blocking my view. Not to mention it usually feels like a sweaty mess among the crowd in the sun. 2nd deck 3rd base side is superior imo, you get the shade, you can see everything great, plus padded seats ftw.

Yeah, I love the second deck infield as well. I think the 100s infield are the best in-the-action seats, though. Way better than the ones behind the plate on TV, which are actually called In the Action Seats IIRC. I hate anything over the home run wall. My friend likes that area though, for some reason, so sometimes I just go with it.

I'm with the Gov - give me the 200 level within the infield all day long. 100 level first base side is a cloud of BO. The only advantage is the girls usually don't/can't wear much.

I never thought I'd like the seats behind the homerun wall, but I sat there for a number of playoff games now and they are pretty damn good IMO. I think the 200 level LF seats are good value.

The 100 level in LF or RF in foul territory are the worst seats in the house. You couldn't pay me to sit there.

IMO it goes:

1. TD Club

2. Section 122 or 121 rows 10-28 but has to be on the aisle

3. 200 Level infield

4. Section 101 or 141 first 5 rows has to be aisle though.

5. 200 Level outfield.

6. 100 Level baseline

7. 500 Level

Worst value is by far the 100 Level Sections 130B-130D and 113B- 113D. Seats aren't facing homeplate, zero leg room, have to walk up and down those stupid ramps to get food/go to the washroom.

Definitely great seats if you can get a hold of them through work or something. Actual leg room, padded seats, great view of the field, and hot servers in tight black dresses. Also lots of foul balls.

I started sitting in the 500s behind homeplate last year, and I love those seats. Plus they have those vendors with 50+ different beers.

Favorite game i've ever been to at the RC has to be the wildcard game. 500s behind home plate, dome open, wearing a sweater, watching that walkoff... Damn.

Anyways, I love the 500s on summer nights. You get the nice breeze up there. Its great. Plus the seats are cheap as f***.

I'm going to try these seats with my son this summer. I know the "front" rows in the 500 level are best...what should the cut off be? Row 10?

I like the rows close to the exit, 1-7.

Private washrooms too. Also if its a busy game you can enter gate 8 and there is never a line. (I actually always enter this gate anyways even if I have other seats and say the tickets are on my season ticket card and they let you through)

I have row 1 (524) if you're ever looking. A friend of mine is a few sections over in row 5 and they are fantastic. I wouldn't go above row 10 unless you have to- there's a good reason the price drops after row 10.

You could usually grab them off StubHub for weeknight games cheaper than what the Blue Jays end up charging. Did it two times last season (Dodgers Friday night and Padres weeknight game).

Smart idea, thanks haha. I don't have a season ticket card, though I guess when you self scan inside, they don't look at the section etc.

so is the system designed to sell the least desirable rows first, and you don't have a choice to select the actual best available tickets in the section you're seeking?

It automatically selects "best available" for the section, you don't have the choice. I feel like they are holding back some good seats for the single-game sales though, so i'm not gonna bother with these "flex" packs.

I doubt they're holding much back. In the lower deck there's very little left on the season ticket map. Similar for anything worthwhile in the 500-level. Some of that will eventually be released and I think that will go in the single game and game pack pool, but it will be very hard to "time the market," since they won't announce when they will be released.

Just say the tickets are on your phone, that works too. Its just to get past the security and then after I go through the metal detector I reach into my pocket and pull out my tickets lol.

The Season Ticket Holder entrance is always super long sometime the longest of any line so they basically make you do that.
