A series for the O's that could decide the season right here--Rays are only 0.5 game behind them, and Cleveland's tied. Lose this series and fall out of the race in the coming weeks, and Baltimore might want to start looking at putting Machado on the block, as they aren't going to be able to afford him after 2018 and he seems to be playing like he wants a change of scenery...

And against a White Sox team that has been surprisingly capable offensively.. kinda wish they had called up Moncada for this series though to spite the Red Sox. Maybe next time they see them later this season.

 

That would have been cool

 

(Though no buyer's remorse for Boston in the Sale trade. He's been all they could have possibly asked for so far)

Well, it was the best I can do regarding Aaron Judge--he's already a ROY candidate and pushing Mike Trout for the MVP(3.5 WAR for Trout, 3.0 for Judge)..

 

I liked it, was pretty funny.

BIG dust up in SF after Strickland drilled Bryce Harper square on the hip. Harper charged the mound, threw his helmet and then a couple punches (poorly done as typical of baseball players).

Hay-makers thrown in the Nats and Giants game, Strickland and Harper were throwing bombs.

Yeah they're saying there's history with these 2 guys from the playoffs a few years ago. 2 outs... bottom of the 8th and down by 2... and square in the hip. Yup, probably as intentional as it gets.

 

Strickland was all kinds of pissed. Took 3 Giants to haul him off the field and he wasnt going quietly

Harper looked really looked bad getting punched first and throwing some weak shots. Biggest hit was the pitcher being

tackeld by his own player lol

 

Edit: Apparently it was Morse that got tackeld

Samardzija and another Giant (I think Morse) ran into each other in the rush to grab their guy and break things up.

Torn thumb ligament for Trout--out 5-8 weeks. Might as well rule Judge the MVP and ROY right now..
