Well how high did you take him? I can't imagine his demand was that high. I don't draft until the night before the first game of the season. But he was pretty abysmal last year.

Really sad. He's only a year younger than me. Cancer can strike at any age.

Maybe less credible because it's the Orioles, but could explain why he's had seemingly no bites.

 

Was this recently. I thought he was with Puerto Rico.

I think the no bites is because he refuses to compete for a job while not really being good enough to command one anymore.

Kipnis will not be ready for Opening Day (shoulder). Considering he was 3rd on the Indians in runs scored and one of their better hitters, this would be a significant blow to Cleveland if he misses significant time.

I'm guessing Mark Reynolds will just fill in at 1b until he's back.

Yeah... He's a good enough internal option that they might not bother bringing in someone else.

The PL is the first time I've had any piece of Desmond. He'll have issues all season guaranteed.

Desclafani has a UCL sprain. Shut down for at least a month.
That sucks, but I'm assuming this means Cody Reed makes the rotation now, so not all is lost.
