Let's do that golf!

Going to be a fun final, I want Fleetwood to win at home, either him or Harman would be cool.

Rahm was en fuego, today.

Lots of gold still left today, loving it, buddy.

Got cheddar on Rahm, so if he could go on to win, that would be juuuuust what the ol' doctahhh ordered.

Harmon made 58 or 59 putts inside 10' - that's insane.

He's always on the leaderboard in putting statistics, his shot making really won him the tournament to go along with his Godly putting, happy for the guy.

In case anyone missed it, here's the insane moment where Winnipeg's Nick Taylor makes the 72-foot walk-off eagle putt to win on the fourth playoff hole over Tommy Fleetwood. First Canadian to win the Canadian Open in 69 nice years.

I got the opportunity to play Oakdale this past August and they cut the hole in the same place it was for the Canadian Open....then they had a little flag on the green where Taylor made the putt from - so everyone was allowed to take a few runs at it. It was very cool. The putt is insane though. Way more break and slope than you can see on TV. I have a cool video of my attempting to make it. I gave it a good roll and missed by about an inch.....only to then watch it roll off the back of the green. Really cool course too.

Which of the 9s did you play? I got to play St George's last year which was really cool with having watched the Canadian Open the year before there. Course kicked my ass too.

I think I played the Homeniuk and Knudson 9's. They said we played like 14 of the 18 holes they used in the Canadian Open.

Is Tiger Woods on roids?

Don't think its any secret. Same with Lebron James (which ESPN did a story on) and probably lots of NBA/MLB/NFL players. The doping technology is way ahead of the testers. And if all these Olympic athletes are doping to try to win medals you don't think other sport athletes are when there are millions and millions of dollars to be made?

Funny how Rahm might very well get more than what Ohtani will end up getting plus the potential for more from the Majors winnings. I still won't watch LIV though, the production of it is just straight garbage. A big loss for the PGA tour though I don't think him alone really will cause people not to watch. At the end of the day there are so many great golfers still on the PGA tour so each week still is competitive. If a young guy like Aberg goes out and wins 3 out of 10 events he can be marketed as the next big thing and you have your "new Rahm"

LIV is honestly not bad to watch, imo. Honestly, if they changed each event to 4 rounds with cuts, I'd probably watch most tournaments.

PGA would be wise to take the deal with LIV to the finish line in order to hopefully stop the poaching. Got to work together or the fracturing of the sport will only get worse.

If CBS, NBC or FOX produced it, it would be a lot better. I turned it on the commentary sucked, was confusing as hell with everyone on different holes and music blasting in the background. Plus was just over the top propaganda of pro LIV crap.

Like you said they would be better off just having 4 rounds and regular tee off times. The team aspect I actually don't mind and it's a cool concept but if I'm being honesty I don't really have any interest in watching. I'll see all those guys at the 4 Majors and for the bigger tourneys like the players, WM open etc.. its still exciting with all the great golfers.

You've got old dudes with massive egos that have never been challenged before and they don't know how to compromise or not get their own way. That's who's running the PGA.

You know Aberg has already said he would play LIV if he secured enough World Ranking points to play the majors. Hovland has never said he wouldn't play it either

I didn't know that but makes sense with the $ that are getting thrown around. PGA tour is in a tough spot because these guys are getting paid more than what they are worth by LIV so there really isn't much they can do.

I don't exactly know what this means for the PGA, but it sounds like a big deal. Anyone care to give me the Cole's Notes?

I'm not entirely sure, but I can tell you that it's a huge f***ing mistake if they opt for this in lieu of aligning with the PIF/Saudis. Players will continue to trickle to the greener pastures of LIV Golf, subsequently leading to an even more diluted talent pool on the PGA Tour. $3B is absolute peanuts compared to the funding that LIV has access to, and it could be the PGA's money too if they'd quit f***ing around and join forces with LIV to create a worldwide tour already.
