P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Or, you know, Scheffler could continue to make hole outs from the fairway to cruise to victory.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 (edited) It's been fun watching the leaderboard slowly materialize into a star-studded one. The wheat has really begun to separate from the chaff. Currently: 1. Zalatoris -4 (#14 in world) T2. Fitzpatrick -3 (#18) T2. Rahm -3 (#2) T4. Bradley -2 (#47) T4. Hadwin -2 (#105) T4. Scheffler -2 (#1) T4. Wise -2 (#44) T4. Morikawa -2 (#7) T9. McIlroy -1 (#3) T9. Burns -1 (#9) Edited June 18, 2022 by P2F

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 There's nothing better than watching the best players in the world get eaten alive by a course/setup and the conditions. Down to just 11 players under par for the tournament, and I fully expect that to get down to single digits by end of round today. This tournament gives The Masters a very real run for its money for best tournament in golf, imo.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Author Posted June 18, 2022 Rahm putting on a clinic this back 9.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 That recovery shot by Rory on 18 was unbelievable.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Rahm putting on a clinic this back 9. What have you done Spanky?

Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Damn it! I had single bets on both Scheffler and Zalatoris.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2022 Author Posted June 20, 2022 Heartbreaker fellas, what a great event.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 (edited) Koepka has joined LIV. So that's now Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, Patrick Reed, Abraham Ancer, and Phil Mickelson (among others) that have spurned the PGA Tour. Unless the PGA learns to work alongside LIV, they will be in big trouble soon. Money talks. Edit: PGA to increase their purse sizes, revamp schedule, etc. https://www.espn.com/golf/story/_/id/34125764/sources-pga-tour-looks-revamp-schedule-increase-purses-response-liv-golf-threat Edited June 21, 2022 by P2F
