jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Reddick is the perfect target for Shatkins imo. I have a feeling Jays fans are going to be quite happy with what's going to happen this off-season. I just hope he doesn't ignore the bullpen need. One of Jansen, Chapman, or Melancon on this team would be huge.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Those closers are going to probably cost more than 10 million and up each. Osuna is only 500k for now. But if something happens to osuna I don't know what they will do. Will be nice to get a little idea of they want to do in the next week or so.

FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 This rotation could go tits up in a hurry. They are older other than Sanchez and Stroman, and stros pitch plain is terrible when he isn't on.

If anything - I'd be more worried about Sanchez's mechanics, but anyway - you could say this about every single rotation in baseball. We have 5 legit, good starters....we need to replenish our 6th, 7th and 8th starters (Biagini could be one if we convert him) - but let's not act like the rotation is a concern.

They are older other than Sanchez and Stroman, and stros pitch plain is terrible when he isn't on. Every rotation is going to go tits up in a hurry. The most important things are that the rotation looks good in 2017, and is not owed money long term. Check and check.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Put everyone in the pen. Too risky to have anyone pitch.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Put everyone in the pen. Too risky to have anyone pitch. Everyone goes 2-3 innings every couple of days. Done.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Everyone goes 2-3 innings every couple of days. Done. Is that legal?
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Is that legal? Of course. Osuna starts every 1st inning. Sanchez is the 2-3 inning guy. Happ and Estrada take care of 4-7. Biagini and tepera rotate 8-9. Next game Stroman and grilli do 4-7. Sanchez will be stuck doing 2 and 3 every night. Might have to bring back dickey in case someone gets hurt. Sorry liriano, you aren't needed, dfa

Liriano doesn't get to pitch ever though Why would you pitch Dickey and Tepera over Liriano, dum dum?
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 Why would you pitch Dickey and Tepera over Liriano, dum dum? Whose going to lead the bisons to a championship? Certainly not dickey or tepera

How good was our rotation the year before? Basically the same rotation other than Dickey and Sanchez. It could end badly. Better than pulling s*** out of your face hole like you do.
