I don't think Boxy scares off new posters or even old posters. I was responding to f***ing Reed Johnson Fan...people have to learn that I'm sarcastic about 90% of the time. With that said I still refuse to apologize to Boxy...well because he's Boxy.

I've only been here a couple months but been reading for couple years, have had a very negative vibe from boxcar the whole time and it's all because of that avatar he has. Can't stand that face, sorry. Hearing that he is actually Asian makes it better. Asians look very friendly and likeable in general, and did you know they are also good luck?

Boxy's one man crusade against Orioles Hangout will forever make me a fan. It's pretty fun and I think it's good for the board to have a healthy rivalry with another board. I also appreciate his candor in the face of the shitlibery that we face in the Politics thread.

 

I can't tell if King is serious with this post but I can never tell if he is. Pretty sure it's a joke. But I like King too he makes me laugh.

And regardless of what people like RJF say, new posters that don't act like complete morons are treated just fine.

 

Yeah it's an advanced stats board. If you aren't at least somewhat receptive to that way of analyzing the game you won't find many friends. JoeCarter or whatever his name is is a good example. He came out swinging and he's kind of an ******* to be honest but he makes good arguments and backs them up with stats so I think he does pretty well here.

Maybe not him. But in 2016 this board has been in existence for three years. Pretty sure it has achieved a 100% market penetration of smart, snarky guys who are Blue Jays fans and who want to talk baseball online for a couple of years now. Guys like him are recycled profiles.

Well better than what I imagine Red Sox and Yankee message boards to be. 40 something balding taxi drivers with heavy accents (New York or Boston), possibly divorced. They live with their parents and get served out off those portioned plates on the couch watching the game by their mom and still won't eat their vegetables.

 

Still not as bad as Orioles fans though
