Every time I'm in a book store I consider how bad bucks book might be and read a line or tw. But for $40 I'll never know, anybody read dickies book ?

Yeah. Dickies book was enjoyable. I'd recommend it.

The scum on TBS and Fox every October remind me how great these two are. They're lunatics but they're our god damn lunatics.

 

Wat? Ernie Johnson, Ron Darling and Cal Ripken were like a million times better than these two clowns.

I simply did not hear that bias in the TBS crew that everyone here appeared to be complaining about. They sounded as excited from one big play to the next, regardless of which team was doing it. They didn't have a whole lot good to say about Toronto over the ALCS compared to Cleveland... but that's cause Toronto kinda sucked.

 

They did a perfectly fine job on a national broadcast for which the majority of viewers probably weren't cheering for one squad over the other.

 

Kinda makes me miss Scully tbh. I don't think there will ever be another baseball voice as eloquent as his. Any young broadcaster who tries to follow Vin's style will just get called pretentious.

I agree they praised whichever team was doing well. Had good things to say about Donaldson, osuna, a few others. Only in the alds they seemed to want the losing team to make it interesting but I don't think that was the case against the Indians. They wanted it over with
