Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Roberts trying to be creative with his line up. Not working so far. Blanton going to be the one to cost them the season with the game 1 grand slam and tonight
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Great bunt for a hit against against an extreme shift by Rizzo
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Seems like people have been getting to chapman lately no?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Seems like people have been getting to chapman lately no? Every time he comes in to inherited runners yes actually Maddon will try to avoid that tonight I'm sure
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Were those runners inherited when he blew it vs the Giants? He gave up 2 to Dodgers but bases loaded no out. Really don't like the guy, bad attitude and hurts gf
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Dodgers actually cancelled a trade for him they had lined up because of that, is that why Yankees got rid of him ? Other than unloading at dead line
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Jesus christ what a play by Baez. This kid is unbelievable.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 8-1 but Baez looks hurt Crap
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Just got home. Why Did the Dodgers pull Maeda so early with Lester up? Hurt or?
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 21, 2016 Author Posted October 21, 2016 Gave up a lot of base runners but got lucky. Throwing a lot of balls. Bull pen couldn't get it done or this could of been close
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Pedro Strop is such a douche. Put your hat on straight you punk.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Always find it amazing when teams string together solid contact on Chapman.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Always find it amazing when teams string together solid contact on Chapman. He's really been shaky this post season That and his baggage will reduce what he gets this off season as a free agent
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 OTOH, Lester remains a post season force
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Imagine if Boston had managed to re-sign Lester and Miller
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 He's really been shaky this post season That and his baggage will reduce what he gets this off season as a free agent I strongly believe the opposite. Chapman will get paid handsomely.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I strongly believe the opposite. Chapman will get paid handsomely. Oh he'll still get paid plenty, yes But it won't be the record setting deal he might have had I think
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Oh he'll still get paid plenty, yes But it won't be the record setting deal he might have had I think Again, I disagree. It's subjective to compare what would constitute a record deal versus what he actually gets, but he just had another elite season by every measure. His walks were a career low, he was still striking out hitters at an absurd rate with just as impressive swinging strikes, and his average fastball velocity was also the highest it's ever been, how ever ridiculous that may sound. It's also not like he's been bad in the postseason. He's still Aroldis Chapman, but with a BABIP at .375 he might not seem like he's still Aroldis Chapman. Teams will absolutely be paying through the roof to acquire his services, especially with bullpens being more and more heavily relied upon in the playoffs.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
