Not to mention he was above league average in 2015 with a wRC+ of 108. I don't like Smoak - but enough with the ignorant statements guys.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 How many strikeouts will he get when he plays a full season at first base? Maybe he gets 20-25 home runs with a .180 average and .210 obp? Take 4 seconds and look at his stats before you post. He walks a lot, his OBP would never be 30 points higher than his average. When do you guys go into hibernation? I hope it's soon.
Mittens87 Verified Member Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) who cares It's a slight exaggeration Jesus. I know typically his obp is 60-100 points higher Doesn't mean that's what it will be. I said what will it be next year, you mean he will put up identical numbers next year? He could get worse Why would I hibernate? Did you know people don't hibernate? Try looking it up before you post that. I've been watching blue jays since 1997 and don't plan on leaving. Funny that you are so worried people might think Justin smoak is worse than he is Edited October 22, 2016 by Mittens87
SweetSmellingChacin Verified Member Posted October 25, 2016 Posted October 25, 2016 Innings go up in Smoak when he's up.
Driveof85 Verified Member Posted October 27, 2016 Posted October 27, 2016 I like Justin a lot. Does he just need to play every day to put up some big numbers?
vic city Verified Member Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I like Justin a lot. Does he just need to play every day to put up some big numbers? Lol seriously? What is there to like? Even defensively he's overrated. We didn't miss a beat when EE played 1st.

I like his defence, his power from the left side, his professionalism, and I recall a few big hits he has had. It's gotta be tough virtually playing from the bench day in day out
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
