Well now we know who we face. I'm just happy that we're not the only ones with multiple days of rest. We can stack our rotation exactly how we want it, I could still see Stroman going first. Maybe Stroman, Estrada, Sanchez, Happ (finally our depth can shine)

Latest report from us: Atkins says that Liriano and Travis feel better. That's all, no medical information released. Lets hope we can get them both ready for Cleveland.

Also I'll keep this thread updated with results, matchups, etc I miss making GDTs :P

For now:

Game 1 - Toronto Blue Jays 0 - 1 Cleveland Indians - Fri, Oct 14 8:08pm

Game 2 - Toronto Blue Jays 1 - 2 Cleveland Indians - Sat, Oct 15 4:08pm

Game 3 - Cleveland Indians 4 - 2 Toronto Blue Jays - Mon, Oct 17 8:08pm

Game 4 - Cleveland Indians @ Toronto Blue Jays - Tue, Oct 18 4:08pm

Game 5* - Cleveland Indians @ Toronto Blue Jays - Wed, Oct 19 4:08pm

Game 6* - Toronto Blue Jays @ Cleveland Indians - Fri, Oct 21 8:08pm

Game 7* - Toronto Blue Jays @ Cleveland Indians - Sat, Oct 22 TBD

Yup, glad they will have a similar amount of rest. Should be a good series.

Really have to get on their SP early and get a lead. The less we see of Miller, the better

Other than Kluber, who else do the Indians have. Tomlin and Bauer. Cant imagine they start Clevenger against the Jays after what we did to him last time. Didn't we also destroy Kluber this year?

Cleveland is an interesting team. Their roster doesn't seem strong without Brantley, Salazar, and Carrasco. Maybe it isn't. But they have a lot of tough outs with their set 1-6 and dual OF platoons 7-8. We're gonna see some well-managed fundamental beisbol.

We did destroy Kluber, but he handled us well in his next start.

It seems like Andrew Miller will be used every game. Love what Francona has done during the ALDS against Boston.

Looking at the schedule, I think we could see Kluber 3 times:

Friday - Kluber (5+ days rest)

Saturday - Bauer (5+ days rest)

Monday - Tomlin (5 days rest)

Tuesday - Kluber (3 days rest)

Wednesday - Bauer (3 days rest)

Saturday - Kluber (3 days rest)

Would they pitch him twice in a row on 3 days? Would that even be preferable to twice and a Clevinger/bullpen game?

I think we're definitely seeing Kluber 3 times if this series goes the distance.

If they are smart they would throw Bauer at us 3 times. Thats the guy we really struggle against. Jays have handled Kluber very well in the past, comparatively speaking.

Trevor Bauer returns

Murica

It would be lovely to annihilate him in Toronto and gif the pouty face he makes after he's pulled.

Only reason I think they might hesitate is that he was banged up to end the season. But with their staff in shambled, you kind of have to ride your ace as far as he can take you.

Melvin Upton Jr. could be a big weapon off of the bench against Andrew Miller. He's 5-12 with 3 jacks for his career. Bautista, Encarnacion, Martin, and Pillar have also had a lot of success vs. Miller.

He's still an elite pitcher that may very well shut us down, but the Jays have certainly been his kryptonite.

I don't think there's a doubt with all their casualties to their rotation

You can start the next gameday thread if we lose the upcoming series (hint: it will be next year).

Product of him being in the AL East for so long! Regardless this indians team is well built and well run. It's a great chance for the entire fanbase to see what it's like being run by the machine that is Shapiro, before we take the series of course :P

Those numbers might be off the s***** starter Andrew Miller and not the elite reliever he has become.
