Man, Stubhub for game 1 in Texas is starting at $21, while game 3 in Toronto begins at $100. What's up with that ?

Up 2 games to 0, at home, Jays up 8-0 in the top of he 9th, Odor at the plate, someone better throw at his head.

Suspensions, sure. But depending on who the pitcher is...would be totally worth it.

1sr good opportunity, I hope odor is drilled

Maybe we can even have a big fight and Grilli or somebody can get injured and miss the rest of the playoffs.

Odor most plainly is not worth it. It's the playoffs. You can't put grudges ahead of winning baseball.

I wouldn't call Darvish and Hamels mediocre.

Darvish is god tier but Hamels isn't really discernible from JA Happ anymore imo. V similar stats

The media is going to have a blast promoting this series. Even before "the punch" the Game 5 2015 was a great revenge story.

We have to play our best to beat this team. Our D last night was excellent. Aside from the DPs, which happen, the team seemed to take their game to a higher level.

I cant wait for this series. I think I'm going to have to head to TOR. Last night was epic. I'm still buzzing from it.

Call Bautista to pitch. Make it epic. Would be the ultimate final moment in a Blue Jays jersey for him

*In before someone says that would be stupid because he'd be suspended for ALCS and possibly WS, I'm obviously not serious

We just have better fans, pretty simple.

Its not even better than the orioles, actually. Team wRC+ of 98 while the Orioles sit at 101.

Well, that's probably not all that accurate a representation of their skills because they played most of the year with Fielder and without Choo, Beltran, and Lucroy. I think Texas is legitimately dangerous, with the obvious weak spot being the rotation after Hamels and Darvish,. They're going to throw two very bad starters out there in a 5-game series.

Yikes. This is a game.

The plan to defeat the axis of evil or bermuda triangle of coaches.

Step 1: Beat Showalter (Complete)

Step 2: Beat Banister

Step 3: Beat Farrell

I guess Ned Yost has to wait until 2017.

The same game they threw at Bautista and jacked him in the chin. All's fair.

I feel like you don't really grasp the danger involved with throwing a baseball 90+ mph at someone's head.

Does anyone actually dislike Joe Maddon?

Wow I neve realized out side of those two, their rotation is terrible. As if they've won that many games with only two good pitchers.

I feel like if you really want retribution...beat them in the series. It would feel much better than throwing a projectile.

Kind of amazing to watch Tulo over the last week. You get the sense he is really comfortable here now and a real leader of this team. Great D...stinging the ball...and way more animated and emotional than we have been used to seeing. He wants to win so badly. Its really a treat to watch him play.

He will come up big against TEX

But it does raise a discussion. Obviously no throwing at the head should be happening (or throwing at people in the postseason)

BUT

how will the players handle the situation? Especially since all I saw on SN yesterday with the interviews and our panel + 590 this morning amping up the bloodshed between the two teams? I mean while it's not in the nature of Gibby to retaliate by injuring another player, the last half an hour that was played between the two teams resulted in Bautista being hit by a pitch, then hit by a bitch... and Bannister seems the type of guy who loves war and retaliation, how will both teams handle this?

No I didn't say I hate or dislike him, but he did crush us series in and series out when he was with the Rays, he owes us at least one :P

Looking at the current situation though, a short series helps when you have a lack of depth. They could use Hamels/Darvish in 4/5 of the games.
