Why have a s***** day just because Gibbons makes a dumb decision or Bautista swings for the fences and strikes out? You can't control their decisions so why feel the negative emotion attached to their decisions? Fans owe absolutely NOTHING to these players and organizations to have it affect their own lives in a detrimental way.

It's ok to be excited when your sports team does something that you like, but never get angry or upset if they do something you don't like. You don't owe anything to them to have to feel any negative emotion resulting from something THEY chose to do. Why should it make YOU feel bad? Just be indifferent.

These players don't know or feel bad if YOU had a bad day at work so why should you feel bad when they have a bad day at "work". They're getting paid millions of dollars to do what they do and should receive no sympathy or have any average joe's life negatively affected by what they do, even if they're dumb enough and cocky enough to go out on their own PRIVATE BOAT at 3 in the morning at a high rate of speed.

These athletes think they're invincible and above everyone else because they're so filthy rich and I'm certainly not going to have my life altered in a negative way based on dumb decisions they make on AND off the field. They're laughing all the way to the bank, f*** em, just watch it for entertainment only or stop complaining when your whole life becomes unlivable because Michael Saunders strikes out for the 3rd time on the same pitch in the dirt.

Vdub's post made me realize I skimmed past this. You're absolutely pathetic. Get off your f***ing pedestal and far, far away from this board.

Thanks Dr Phil.

I was going to a bar last night and I legit saw a dead Blue Jay on the ground. I've never seen that in my life. lol. Pretty eerie/timely.

Perfectly understandable. It's a symbolic sign from the baseball gods that they Jays will rise like a phoenix from the Sept ashes to smite the usurpers for our crown. This is some biblical s*** goin' on.

You've got to go through some bad times to appreciate the good times. You're a fairweather fan and that's ok, but many of us are diehards and can't change that. Watching Joe Carter's home run when I was 5 years old remains one of the best moments of my life to this day. A fairweather fan just doesn't get the same experience.

Also, I know a couple of successful pro athletes from high school and college and can tell you firsthand that your views are ridiculously off base. Most of them are just normal people that love their sport. Your example of Jose Fernandez is a very poor one considering his background and personality.

Apparently the Jays are boycotting the media for the rest of the season as per Damien Cox Twitter

Is this legal? And why? There's 2 games left.

I guess the article on the clubhouse falling apart yesterday was the tipping point.

I didn't see the article. And apparently not all media. They are picking and choosing who is allowed and who is not

See I would say that that's a bad sign, but at the same time looking at the recent articles on the Sun it looks like those asshats are trying to push an agenda that the Jays clubhouse are in shambles -- and I'm pretty sure there was another article scolding Osuna on there too. If all the players decided collectively to not talk to certain reporters it would indicate that theres no problems in the clubhouse and that they're standing together vs. of course a few loud mouths running to the media and dropping subliminal hints about issues
