Seems like a good hire. Red Sox have so much young talent in large part because of Cherrington and him. Really like the way Shapiro has shaped the FO. My guess is they have one of the highest earning FO in the game.

lol imagine how screwed we would be with Dombrowski, Duquette or Williams.

 

Dick Williams hasn't even been on the job for a year. I'm inclined to give him more of a chance.

His Dad doesn't own the Jays so he'd never be linked here.

Great hire by the way. Was a bit of a spoiled rich kid but really grew into a mature adult.

High paid FO is not a bad thing, works well for the Raptors.

Finally big market teams have learned its better to throw money at smart executives than aging players. I think we are getting to the point where its really tough for small market teams to be able to compete though. Pretty big competitive inbalance.

Blue Jays offered a guy near minimum wage to continue as an intern. Dodgers offered same person $120K, with no additional experience. I'd say yes they have the highest earning F.O.
