Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Why make the change now WTF lol
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Of course Liriano would throw it away.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 A bunt against the shift with EE and Bautista due in the sixth inning of a scoreless game in a pennant race wouldn't have been the worst thing. Only because of the shift though gives you an almost guaranteed hit if you get it down. No.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 f*** sakes why can't Cecil be as good as last year so we don't have to use this bum in high leverage
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Haha! Got home from work and watched Jose get the home run as soon as I turned my TV on.....went to the fridge to grab a beer and it's tied. At least I didn't miss any scoring....? lol
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Lol life of a blue jay fan
Plat Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 It's actually becoming comedic at this point
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Likely in the clubhouse, taking a s***. Not sure what audience you were fishing for laughs from there
jaysguy44 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Why make the change now WTF lol Because If he didn't make the move now and gave up another home run you guys would be calling for Gibbons head.
Maahfaace Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Can't really fault Gibby on that kids, Lirano was dealing tonight.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 WHY IS WILNER'S FACE ON MY SCREEN???? cf
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Likely in the clubhouse, taking a s***. Okay Gbill.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 What did he do that was dumb? No kidding.
Olerud363 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 god i love when we leave starters in to face a lineup 3 f***ing times Are you kidding or is the data that convincing?? Independent of pitch count?? Just curious.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Because If he didn't make the move now and gave up another home run you guys would be calling for Gibbons head. Not really he's about to face four s***** hitters
intrigid Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 What the hell, 7th inning already?? I literally came home before game time, had a salad, took a dump, and the game is almost over??
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Are you kidding or is the data that convincing?? Independent of pitch count?? Just curious. When the alternative is Benoit I will take my chances with the starter.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Not sure what audience you were fishing for laughs from there I wasn't... he was likely taking a s***.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 What did he do that was dumb? He pushes the statistical issue all the time. Hitters have an OPS +1.000 the third time through. Why not say thank you for the six scoreless, which is way more than you could expect, and get the pen in the game. It was only 2-0, not a comfortable lead by no means.

I'd normally agree but Benoit is the 7th inning guy so its kind of a wash

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Okay Gbill. lol... I feel dirty. I meant it wasn't a factor.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 You guys are acting like 2 ER from your #6 in 6 innings when 2 of the last 3 starters couldn't get past 4 is a bad thing..

Do you have any idea how much Gibby would get roasted for that?

It isn't bad, the thing that is bad is getting 2 runs and then giving it right back 4 minutes later.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I wasn't... he was likely taking a s***. Did himself or someone reveal that he has a high fibre diet? I am confused.
