TRM Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 I'm gonna go ahead and Mark Messier this one by guaranteeing a Jays victory. I've started streaks before, and I'll start one here. #BlueJays lineup: Travis 2B, Donaldson 3B, Encarnacion 1B, Bautista DH, Martin C, Tulowitzki SS, Saunders RF, Upton LF, Pillar CF
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Wow I came really close to guessing the lineup! Just need to switch EE and Bautista lol
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Thats a nice looking lineup... now if they could only perform as well as they should.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Lol I bet Bautista hurt his shoulder on that throw in the 8th yesterday
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Who is Bryan Mitchell?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Great complete lineup Win this game
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This is pretty much the best possible lineup Gibby could roll out
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Who is Bryan Mitchell? Exactly
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This is pretty much the best possible lineup Gibby could roll out Please score 10 runs so he keeps using it
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Who is Bryan Mitchell? As Brunt said this morning, based on the team this past couple of months prepare to get no hit
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 As Brunt said this morning, based on the team this past couple of months prepare to get no hit How about some optimism bro?
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 As Brunt said this morning, based on the team this past couple of months prepare to get no hit :'(
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 How about some optimism bro? Good point! The lineup finally looks great, imo at least. We went on a tear with pesky Travis hitting infront of Donaldson, and with Bautista actually coming on with people on base we might actually score some runs! Also Stroshow's pitching today who's been really great save for that last start
Cyborg Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Not the best lineup but close. Travis shouldn't be leading off. Best hitter goes number 2 (Donaldson) Identify next two best hitters (Bautista and Edwin), one with more OBP goes 1st (Bautista) and one with more SLG goes 4th (Edwin) Identify next two best hitters (Saunders vs R and 1 of Martin/Tulo/Travis since all are close), one with more OBP goes 3rd (Martin) and one with more SLG goes 5th (Saunders) Then the rest is in order of talent vs. R Bautista Donaldson Martin (Tulo/Travis) Edwin Saunders Tulo (Travis/Martin) Travis (Martin/Tulo) Smoak/Upton Pillar vs. L Bautista Donaldson Martin (Tulo/Travis) Encarnacion Tulo (Travis/Martin) Travis (Martin/Tulo) Upton Smoak/Saunders Pillar

o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 finally Pillar is hitting 9th. lol Pillar hit so good yesterday that Gibbons had to demote Travis from the honorary 9 spot and put Pillar there instead.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Pillar and Travis are a lot more similar hitters than you would think. Both walk very little Travis hits for more power and strikes out a little more. Agree completely with Cy
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This by far is the best and strongest line up we could possibly have.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 No Sanchez for the Yanks.
justafan Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Totally agree. Hopefully the lineup will make pitchers scared. Hope the boys can hit a few as well. Lots of on base! This by far is the best and strongest line up we could possibly have.
justafan Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Is there a setting on this to auto refresh?
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 This by far is the best and strongest line up we could possibly have. Source you are saying the lineup posted earlier in the thread by Cyborg would actually be worse than Gibby's?
justafan Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Why not have Carerra instead of Saunders. Speed really helps.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Let's take thiissssssss
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 With rhe the no name pitcher and out hitting lately, is there an over under on 3 hits?
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Easy win today FFS it SHOULD be But damn...
Cyborg Verified Member Posted September 7, 2016 Posted September 7, 2016 Why not have Carerra instead of Saunders. Speed really helps. Because Carrera is a bad hitter. 78 wRC+ this year and projects at 76. Saunders at 127 this year and projects around 109.
