Although with Goins in the game, you could just pinch hit for him with Tulo and it doesn't cost us much. It's a fine move if he never planned on having Martin catch anyways.

Yeah maybe, but what if the starter doesn't make it out of the first inning? Is it better to see a positional player pitch when you have spare relievers on the team? I don't think it's an easy answer.
