2lowitzki Verified Member Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I heard CBC and Sportsnet are broadcasting World Cup of Hockey.. So does it mean the Jays game will be aired on Sportsnet One during that time? That will be a shame if it happens.. Jays are still on a pennant race and Sportsnet is trying to overshadow them.. I think the Jays game was moved to Sportsnet One too many times this year, and hope they don't break our hearts.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 I hope so I don't want to miss any of the exciting action.

BlueJays Verified Member Posted September 4, 2016 Posted September 4, 2016 Yes. Jays will be out of the dvision race by that time anyway
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Are you kidding A chance to see Syd the kid. Of course they will move Jays games Why just the thought of him gets kipper hard and he doesn't even need viagara ( usually necessary due to years of steroid abuse )
intrigid Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 I'm from SK and all SN channels (including One) are included in the basic package. I'm happy but it makes no freaking sense for other parts of the country.
WONDERBAT Verified Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 So far for what I can see only Wednesdays game against TB is on Sportsnet One and Next Weekend series against LAA.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 9, 2016 Posted September 9, 2016 Hockey suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
2lowitzki Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Author Posted September 15, 2016 Ok, for the 7 game road trip.. ONLY ONE GAME is on the regular Sportsnet Channel...... Kinda expected it, but I can see Sportsnet is definitely trying to kill all the Jays fans
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Hockey suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx can't take a sport seriously when it's only dominated by white dudes

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Yes, all games will air on SportsnetONE during the ridiculous hockey tournament of more hockey for a country that can't live without hockey for more than 3 months....
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 can't take a sport seriously when it's only dominated by white dudes I don't even...
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 can't take a sport seriously when it's only dominated by white dudes But you can take basketball seriously because it is only black guys? There's no racism at play, hockey players are just more Canadian and we have different demographics. My mother went to high school with Gretzky, for example, and there wasn't a black kid in the entire school.

I'll be cancelling my cable after the MLB Postseason & U.S. Elections. I have MLB TV and could stream any game or Jays games on my PS4. Plus any new shows, you can download the episode the next day in full HD quality and watch them on your Xbox or PS4. As well, on the PS4, you'll be able to download an HBO streaming app soon.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 I couldn't care about the World Cup of Hockey. It's not like the Olympics. As well, they have a team North America and a Team Europe, like what a joke. Yes they are both talented still, though this tournament seems kind of forced in order to just make money.

I would be streaming at home, but I'm with my father in an Ottawa apartment as he recovers from leukemia so the cable package is set and the internet sucks.

It's the Canada Cup man, just a new fancy name, it's been around since the 70's?

Just a heads up, I would stick to streaming websites to watch your shows instead of torrenting them, Canada has started to crack down on torrenting, they technically can't throw you in jail yet or charge you but they're moving in the direction of the US for charging people with Piracy crimes, either that or just get a VPN from Iceland and download away.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 Sometimes I hate living in Canada. Hockey sucks ass It does suck but when I go to the States and see friends or just visit and I have to sit through 20 minutes of NCAA highlights on ESPN before they get to real professional sports it makes my blood boil too. Hockey however in this country is out of control even though the number of kids playing it now growing up has dropped off a cliff due to the cost.

College sports is more annoying than NHL coverage I guess

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 College sports are the best. Naw I can't deal with it, yeah NCAA football is better than the CFL but still it doesn't hold a candle to the NFL.
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 SN1 isnt even available where I live... so annoying, especially for the worldcup of hockey. Dont get me wrong I like hockey, but I dont know a single person that watches it.
