The first and third situation with a speed at first should be an automatic steal attempt. When you factor in already having a good baserunner at first and the catchers hesitation to throw through makes it a very high percentage play.

No I would have been fine with it. If we grounded into a double play I would have been furious. That's a gamble I'd like to see us take. Explained in my above post.
