Nice job adding pitching depth in Bolsinger and Feldman without giving up much assets.

 

Bolsinger with 4 years of control is very nice.

The target pool isn't nearly as deep this year as it was last year.

f*** the whole "window of opportunity" narrative. This all started with the Marlins trade. We could have had a strong sustainable farm with 1-2 playoff berths by now if those trades hadn't been made.

 

Just look at EE/Jose situation you know one if not both are gone and they could go to Boston, add in Bogarts and Mookie that team will be so good next year along with the Yankees getting a lot better this could be the last legit chance to go for a ring.

I actually like the Hector Santiago trade for the Twins, frees up a lot of money for this winter.

Rangers run differential is +9 on the season... Jays are +81. Yes they improved in areas of need and are obviously better but don't overreact here. Red Sox landing Chris Sale would be a lot scarier.

Maybe we would have a nice Bradley/Bogaerts/Betts core if we didn't trade a bunch of our prospects for aging guys with huge salaries. Then WE would have more than enough money to sign Edwin.

He's a good add, but I wouldn't say a "really really really good" add. Relax lol

 

He's been great in the pen, can pitch out of the rotation. He basically costs far less than Hellickson would have cost.
