I always felt his defense was overrated in years past. His range and hands were awesome but throwing accuracy was atrocious. Good that Donaldson admitted it was a problem and corrected it this season.

Benching everyone and starting Dickey on 3 days rest so he could avoid Baltimore is pretty much the definition of punting a game. I don't blame them, Dickey starting against Baltimore would have been a massacre in front of what should be 3 sellout crowds.

 

Eating up innings and being average is all well and good, but I can't wait until Dickey is gone.
