Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Dickey and Chavez were Rekt, today!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I have an idea. Call up Hutch as the #5 and put Dickey as the long man out of the pen

AdamLindsMom Verified Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Why does shatkins not take any flack for the Chavez/Hendricks trade. What a f***ing disaster.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Who was the guy on here who said we don't need pitching?
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Why does shatkins not take any flack for the Chavez/Hendricks trade. What a f***ing disaster. Hendriks has been worse this season
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Why does shatkins not take any flack for the Chavez/Hendricks trade. What a f***ing disaster. Shatkins takes plenty of flack.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Why does shatkins not take any flack for the Chavez/Hendricks trade. What a f***ing disaster. They've been about the same.....
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 They've been about the same..... Considering one is making the minimum and the other 4M. Its not the same.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I just don't understand why we don't fix one aspect of the BP. Trade Storen for a bag of balls or designate him, and just call up Barnes.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Considering one is making the minimum and the other 4M. Its not the same. Considering that one can be used as a starter while the other isn't is not the same either.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Considering that one can be used as a starter while the other isn't is not the same either. Nobody wants to see Chavez used as a starter. I would have rather streched out Hendriks.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Nobody wants to see Chavez used as a starter. I would have rather streched out Hendriks. Suxxxxx as a starter.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 *Hendriks*, hasn't been very good... RP's are volatile. There would still be more control, though. Neither could end up being worth it, but I was skeptical of the move then and I haven't changed my mind at all now. I'll admit that nobody foresaw Sanchez's breakout, so Chavez had a more versatile projected role back in November. I remember a lot of posters being very skeptical as well.

Governator Community Moderator Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 We have absolutely sucked lately.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Than Storen pitches lights out, the rest of the way. I wouldn't be surprised lol. Murphy's Law always seems to follow the Jays.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Maybe this game will be the tipping hand to the FO. We always have something happen after blowouts
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Suxxxxx as a starter. They both suck for a variety of reasons. Its over and done with. Not really worth talking about. Hendriks had years of control and was cheaper. It was a bad trade.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I agree about Barnes, heck, I want to see Rowen too. Barnes, Rowen, and Dermody should all get looks. It would be difficult for them to be worse than Storen/Chavez/etc
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I wouldn't be surprised lol. Murphy's Law always seem to follow the Jays. My girlfriend and I were at the great comeback vs. the Red Sox. Storen came in during the deficit and gave up a lead off double and her and I just made fun of his numbers for the next 10 minutes while he worked out of the jam. Turns out that run would have been the difference, so I guess we were the *******s? That's about all I can say positive about Storen, unfortunately. His slider is dirty as hell when he's having a competent outing though.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 I wouldn't be surprised lol. Murphy's Law always seem to follow the Jays. All teams with relievers, you just never know.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 If Wade LeBlanc comes in and shuts us down for the rest, then I give up lol.
