Yeah not sure why they throw $12 Million at him when Hutch would give similar if not better results for $2.2 Million freeing up some money for the Jays to do other things with, oh also add in Thole's contract off the books too.

200 innings of mediocre pitching and 2 roster spots vs 200 innings from 2 guys being brought up and down from the minors throughout the year means really nothing except the 12 million and the extra spot for Thole. I would rather have Hutch and whoever else.
