I don't know what your obsession with slashing payroll is, but he's actually worth his salary and we need middle of the order hitters going forward. Cutting payroll is only okay if you're actually going to reallocate it in ways that help you compete. This year's FA market might be the skimpiest of our adult lives.

Exactly, no reason to trade Tulo, it truly seems like the previous dropoff was all due to comfort level and learning a new league. It's possible, but I wouldn't expect to see something like that again.

 

Lots of salary coming off the books, we can sign Reddick (who will likely have a huge power surge in TO), especially since he looks like he'll be coming off a down year, and, if attendance remains up, re-sign 1 of JB/Edwin (my pick would be Edwin) to play DH/1st and perhaps re-sign Saunders to play DH/1st if he takes hometown discount.

Said on here last year that Tulo looked really unhappy.

Even earlier this season nothing seemed to be changing,and I basically gave up on him.

Now! What a transformation,it's amazing what happiness can bring.
