nextyear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 It's not sold out? I read somewhere that almost all weekend games have been sold out 45,962, so still a very good crowd.
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Foot Boot? What did he do too his foot? Strained ligaments in his big toe, but it needs a foot boot.
polar bear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Hey! Sparky, you seem like someone who would know their way around Roger Center. Thinking of taking in a live Jays game next weekend(my first),going to order some tickets, where is the best viewing area? Cheers mate.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 I am not sure. But I thought attendance was based on tickets sold. At least it is in the NHL where some teams are always listed as selling out even if there are empty seats. You are correct http://news.nationalpost.com/sports/mlb/mlb-tracks-attendance-by-tickets-sold-not-bodies-in-seats Tickets sold in the MLB determine attendance not people actually at the game

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Good job splitting the series boys (and absolutely putting the wood to them in the final one).

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 17-1 baby!! Split the series, now lets take 2/3 from both series at the minimum before the ASG
polar bear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 2nd deck third base side. Front row if u can get it. Cheers Gov.

If you want cheap seats I'd go sit in the 523 area behind home plate all the way up. Someone here gave me a suggestion to go there and goddamn it's a great view!!! That or 3rd base line for me from now on

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Smoak is just in a slump, he'll come around, get hot. Although I wonder if Montero would do better than Smoak.

With the way Carerra is playing I'd put Bautista at 1st (which probably wont happen cuz Bautsita wants to sell himself as still able to take the field) Also Colabello is coming back this month so we may platoon them both if he's back swinging like last year
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 2nd deck third base side. Front row if u can get it. For light skinned people who burn easily then the 2nd deck is mostly shaded (the 200 level). It is rather expensive but is a great place to see the field. The only time I went this year I was in the 223 section (if I recall correctly). From now on the 200 level is where I want to sit.

Smoak's bat was never good enough for the DH/1B position . We would be much better of dhing Bautista down the stretch and getting a better defender I'm RF Alternatively getting Travis bat in the lineup This team needs to have the best defensive combo.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Yeah, when JB gets back, he needs to replace Smoak in the lineup. Either put Pompey in right, or trade for a vet stop gap to hold the spot down for the rest of the season. Bautista sucked in the outfield before the toe injury. He won't get better out there, and Smoak isn't hitting enough to justify not making the switch. You had your chance with Roidabello out, and you blew it, Smoak.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 If only we could have spread some of this out. Happ was amazing today! Literally one run would have done the trick.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 If only we could have spread some of this out. Happ was amazing today! Scoring a lot of runs today doesn't mean we will score fewer in the future to balance it out, even if it seems like that sometimes.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Literally one run would have done the trick. How so?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 How so? One sac fly between Friday's 9th and 17th innings would have made it a series win.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 It was an entertaining 5 game series with the Indians.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Scoring a lot of runs today doesn't mean we will score fewer in the future to balance it out, even if it seems like that sometimes. I know, it means we will score more.
Cyborg Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Happ put up 0.5 WAR today with a FIP of 0.02.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Poor Lake. 0-4 but he had two good line drives
nextyear Verified Member Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Blue Jays are only 3.5 games out. Blue don't need any help right now, in my opinion, everything is coming together nicely.
