Baltimore scoring >10 runs again. San Diego is just absolute fodder for that lineup.

Didn't the Padres give them a bit of a hard time back in Baltimore? Which is odd considering the natures of their two parks.

Walker said yesterday that pitchers tend to be scared to throw the breaking pitch in Coors

He struck out the last 2 batters once he went to the offspeed, glad he didn't stick fastball the whole inning

Me too. And I'm surprised he didn't throw at least one good to Wolters, who was sitting as dead to rights as possible for a hitter.

Today is a historic day in Blue Jays history.

Not only did they win their first game ever at Coors Field, but they won two games. Two games in one day! See you in 2022, Colorado... I guess.

English please.

f*** fine.

They will schedule us to play Colorado every year Tulo is under contract. It makes a lot more sense than having us face the former Expos based in Washington. Or the Braves and Phillies who we played in the World Series. We may as well play Colorado.

What was the mph?

Probably just a slider. Coors has a high camera angle but very square in front of the plate so the vertical movement isn't as prevalent and the horizontal movement is more easily seen.

Think I saw 91.

It might be related to geography...

You obviously don't realize that they matchup different divisions for interleague each season. This year its AL East and NL West. Last year was AL East and NL East

I know they do that but they match up certain teams to face each other every year as well. It just use to be more obvious before the Astros moved to the AL. They would promote them like the Subway Series. Now there is an intrerleague series always taking place.

With the Expos gone Toronto didn't have a natural rival with the National League. So we have just played the Braves and Phillies every year. The 2 teams we faced in the world series.

Interleague scheduling is f***ed up. San Diego AT Toronto was the only matchup that has never happened and it's finally happening this season after almost 20 years of interleague baseball. Also, Albert Pujols will probably never get a chance to come back to St. Louis with the Angels since the Cardinals are playing out in Anaheim this year and the next time those 2 divisions play again, Pujols may already be out of the game. He left St. Louis after 2011 and the fans haven't seen him since at Busch Stadium since.

I already have tickets to that first game San Diego is coming here July 25th. Its history. The Padres have never played in Toronto!
