He's literally a league average hitter/player. That's by no means trash, but he's not nearly as good as you think he is. His highest single-season WAR is 2.1 last year, and he's almost 30.

I mean that kind of suprises me to be honest. I just love him as a player. Maybe a little bias but I will take him on my team any day. If I could get him on my team in LF and hitting lead off I would be extremely happy. He plays a passable CF. I like the guy that's all I'm saying. I think they made a good choice keeping him. Unless you could really get a nice package.

If you can fool some idiot GM (Dave Stewart) to buy into the inflated average and slugging then it might make sense to move him, in the same way that Billy Beane would ship out starters having career years in the O.Co. I would hope that most front offices nowadays would be aware of the Coors effect though. If they feel they're getting a younger league average at least player for Blackmon then it would make perfect sense to move him.

Right that's what I wanted to make reference to; Beane and his machine of young starters. In theory the Rockies can continue to turn out studs and turn them into good pitching... But unlike Oakland j don't see them that active on the trade front

I think your view of him is clouded given that he plays in the ultimate hitter's heaven. I'd want him in LF in the same way I would want Colby Rasmus out there. He's really not that special of a player.

Another mediocre Coors inflated player lol. Not really that big of a break.

You do understand we are playing at Coors field? That guy scares the s*** at me in this park. I mean a lot of guys do he just hits. You could make the case everyone is overrated on the Rockies. Outside of Nolan.

I would be shocked if we don't see an Arenado Cock Launch here.

He doesn't get to use the Cock Launch treatment until he wins an MVP or throats Butcher physically or emotionally.

You know I wanted Colby Rasmus in LF for years.

Tinder is LIT at 1 in the morning.

When I used to use Tinder I wish they had a "race" option. My fingers got so sore from swiping no to all non black girls. Should have made base camp at Jane and Finch and had a swipe field day.

Anyone is scary in this park, the ball carries like it's nobody's business. DJ Lemahieu is a below average hitter with good contact and terrible power. Mark Reynolds' batting average is nearly 0.60 higher than his career. Even Arenado is kinda overrated with his hitting. Pitchers just don't succeed here, the only memorable one is Ubaldo Jimenez.

Does anyone care that Reynolds was previously 0/16 against Happ like Buck and Pat do. I mean thats 4 games of 0/4s and Reynolds tends to go 0/4 a lot

Coors looks like it has the dimensions of a pitcher's park. Am I wrong? Obviously this is a necessity given the lack of gravity and whatnot.

It does, anywhere else and this ballpark would look huge I think. Probably one of the only stadiums where having the fences being pushed back is not a ridiculous option.

Well say you like just redheads or Spanish women, it would make all the difference.

Are you trying to say that there are a lot of black people that live in the Jane /Finch area?
